Game Thread W13 - Houston V Jacksonville (1 Viewer)

Hope Schaub isn't seriously injured, but I'm thankful for some Grossman today. (And I own Schaub in alot of leagues)

He's holding his left arm against his chest like he needs a sling for the shoulder. That bodes ill.

Meanwhile, Houston showing some stout run defense, stopping MJD from punching it in on consecutive carries.

Whole lotta improbable events happening here. Derrick Harvey getting a sack, MJD getting stopped twice on the goal, Rex Grossman still in the league...

My season is toast without Schaub! I took a calculated risk and did not back up my QB and are playoffs start next week (This is if I make it of course!). I haven't had a backup QB on my roster this year except for Schaub's bye week. I guess my luck just ran out. Schaub better get back in there though if Houston wants any chance of winning this game! Grossman sucks!

AJ with a step on the defender on a quick post. Grossman, of course, throws it about 2 yards behind AJ, like he's trying to get it picked.

Big risk not backing up Schaub...he's not exactly mr. durable. This could potentially kill the rest of AJ's year too.

I guess counting on Schaub/AJ today is not going to work oiut that well for me, eh? And of course my backup QB (Big Ben) throws a deep TD. FML.

Is there anything worse than losing your fantasy QB in the first quarter of a game in week 13?

You guys are freakin' brutal. Schaub has had a great season so far, he gets crushed on a sack (one of MANY) and now "he's worthless", and "what an idiot you are to actually trust Matt Schaub"? The dude has been a top 5 QB so far. Love the "what have you done for me right now" mentality. As it stands most of you guys should be wise enough to have more than ONE QB on your team anyway. If you don't, well, I guess that says enough.

Are you suggesting that Shaub doesn't get hurt every single season?

Having about 15,000 fans in the stadium for what amounts to a playoff game is pretty depressing. Especially when at least 3X that number was probably in ATL yesterday for an amateur football game.

It's because he got hurt in the first series of Week 13, the most important regular season week for FF, practically guaranteeing a loss for his owners. Of course, they have more than one QB on their roster, but that doesn't do them any good this week.
