Maybe Baltimore wants to rethink that statement about keeping Billick next year. Shoulda made a statement and gone for the win instead of the tying FG. If you can't get half a yard, or even have the heart to try, you don't deserve to win.LMAO. Billick loses via The Lemon to the Armadillo.
No one wants to be part of an 0-16 team, this is probably the next biggest win you can have besides the SB.This is cool, those players and staff are celebrating like they won the Super Bowl. Gotta feel real good
I think it's actually the 1976 (?) Buccaneers that are popping the corks on their Old Milwaukee.Pop the corks 72 Dolphins!!

In a way that is kinda sad...My brother called me from a sportsbar with the play by play. When MIA scored the winning TD I could hear the whole place erupt and my brother's voice hit a note I never thought he could reach! This is an all-time classic win.
Goal line decision was bad but the decision in OT to run the ball up the middle was even worse. A 40+ yard FG is no sure thing by any means. Especially with Stover who isn't much of a long kicker. They were a first down away from having the game in the bag, but instead of trying to win the game they ran it three times and banked everything on what amounted to a 50-50 chance, probably less.Fire Billick immediately.
yay! we're not the worst team evah!
Stover's career record from 40-49 yards: 71.6%.This season: 72.7%Notinuse said:Goal line decision was bad but the decision in OT to run the ball up the middle was even worse. I pray to God that my team never has this kind of all-time classic win.MarshallRob said:My brother called me from a sportsbar with the play by play. Actually 66.6% now but whatever. I don't think that stat counts all the times that they punted while they were inside their opponents' 40 yard line... also he hasn't kicked anything over 49 all year (and they've been in position for him to do that quite a few times)Or are you going to claim it was a smart decision to settle for a long field goal there? I'd be more focused on the fact that he's 100% this year from inside 40 and less than 100% from outside it.Stover's career record from 40-49 yards: 71.6%.This season: 72.7%Notinuse said:Goal line decision was bad but the decision in OT to run the ball up the middle was even worse. Sorry for bringing facts into the equation. Feel free to continue your emo-fest without me.
You don't know what you're missing. I wonder where this ranks among the all-time greatest "avoiding a winless season" victories?I pray to God that my team never has this kind of all-time classic win.MarshallRob said:My brother called me from a sportsbar with the play by play.
