Week 7 Injury Thread (2 Viewers)

Not watching, did Flowers hurt his ankle? Did he return?
He was out there on this drive, but looked like a decoy. He just stood there
Except for that fake end around where he was sprinting
Well yeah….except for that
Small oversite ;)
I had to stop watching but Flowers hasn’t recorded another reception so I assume he’s been pulled? Or just a decoy anyway

A decoy, he is blocking, plus a couple fake pitches.

No, I’m watching the game now. He was thrown a pass earlier behind LOS that was a bad throw and fumble that the Bucs recovered. He’s running routes too. He doesn’t appear to be laboring or limited.

absolutely disgusting and unnecessary injury to godwin. makes me sick. nvm the booth warning about it but look across the sideline and look where ljax and henry are. playing a gimpy evans as well. tb killed their season tonight

Puka, Kupp, Rice, Hollywood, Aiyuk, Nico, Godwin, Deebo, Metcalf, Cook,

Then you have AJB, Nabers, Keenan, DHop, and others that have missed time.

I’m sure I’m forgetting a few as well.

Crazy year for WR injuries.

Aiyuk and Godwin lost for the year a day apart. When I had probably the best team in 25 years. I hate fantasy football
I am sure you have other players that better illustrate your point because Aiyuk in 2024 doesn't seem like a foundation for a once in 25 years team.

Davante adams has missed time and let’s not forget the WR’s that literally lost almost all of their value for several weeks as a result of indirect injury to their qb—Both Tyreek and Waddle.

Schefter “The tackle that Chris Godwin was hurt on appears to have all the elements of a hip drop tackle. The play is now under review, per sources, and if it is officially determined to be a hip drop tackle, Ravens LB Roquan Smith would be subject to a fine.”

An eye for an eye. I've been playing FF long enough to know this is what happened. Flowers also got a hip drop tackle Q1. So Roquan does it right back to Godwin Q4. I do not own Godwin. But both sides at fault here. Flowers might miss a game or two. He should be questionable at best on the injury report.

Just pitiful and stupid. Yeah the players don't play for us. But nothing was called after the hip drop tackle on Flowers. So of course the Ravens had to pay back.
Daily FF betters and prop betters are the biggest impacts.

My apparently controversial opinion, going back to the N. Suh days at least, is that an illegal tackle or other unsportsmanlike play that results in injury should result in a suspension for as long as the injury takes the player out.

Just like I think the penalty for perjury in a court case should be the same sentence as the person is on trial for.

As much as I love this idea..................there's obvious reasons why this will never happen.
