Game Thread W15 - Minnesota V Arizona (1 Viewer)

I can't wait for Childress to name Gus starter next week. Should be fun. TJ hasn't proved himself enough today.
Going to be interesting.. I thought I heard one pre-game state Gus actually has a small fracture in his back.. If so, there is no way you start him next week.. Might as well let TJ play out the season and maybe, the playoffs, if they make it.. :unsure:The team at some point has to start thinking about next year and the QB situation.. Might as well find out if TJ is finally grasping the NFL or if we need to make a deal.

I have to say.. Griffth has been playing lights out the last 6 games or so. I've been  about his play for a couple years so I need to give credit when he plays as well as he has been.

Doesn't this just force the question as to whether this Vikings team is capable of winning in the playoffs? If that's not the point when you're leading the division with so few games left then I don't know what to tell you.The Vikings should go with whichever QB has the hot hand and their ego's will just have to take a backseat to the good of the team. Don't mix up the offense too much from what's currently installed to "take advantage of their unique skill sets" or whatever the set up is for a Frerotte or Jackson run team. For now, the Vikings should stick with Jackson and Frerotte should be let know that he could be inserted into the lineup at any moment so he should (and will) keep his wits about him.

Peterson is the best back that rarely scores since Tiki Barber.
To be fair though, it's difficult for any Viking RB to score while the Cards O is on the field.
I said nothing about the Arizona offense being on the field. Nice try at hyperbole, though.
I know, you just happened to comment that during their drive. I understand your pain, though.
Peterson has 160 yards. That's great. Chester Taylor has more fantasy points right now, though. I don't understand pulling Peterson in the red zone. I don't understand pulling Peterson after most runs of 15 yards or more. How does a guy with so many long runs and averaging over 100 yards a game have so few TDs to his name?

My  was about letting TJ "lead" the Vikings through the playoffs... Also, The Vikings still haven't made the playoffs. Two games to go, one game lead.. so "IF" they make the playoffs is needed.

1.5 hours of King of the Hill is on FOX if you're woefully alone and have already washed your hair, shoveled the walk, cleaned the garage, and cried over your 401k.

1-10 MIN45 (2:20) T.Hightower left tackle to MIN 43 for 2 yards (E.Henderson).

Did the Cards just wave the white flag? Come on! I REALLY could use another TD from Warner! Preferably to Fitzgerald!!

In a PPR league he does. Not in a standard scoring league. In a non PPR league it's AP:16 points (160+ Yards) and CT:16 (6pt TD and 102 yds). Also, two TDs came on long passes, on one a punt return - they haven't exactly been grinding in the redzone - they haven't even BEEN in the redzone that much have they?I'm not saying Childress doesn't do bizarre things - he does. But CT is not exactly blowing Peterson off the field and they haven't been pulling him on the one or anything.

Ugh. I know that it's extremely unrealistic. But 2 minutes left and down by 3 TDs isn't COMPLETELY impossible. Just incredibly improbable. Oh well, Leinart can show that he still sucks.

warner isnt hurt is he? i assume lienart is geting garbage time?
The Cards are just using their heads. They have the division. Warner is getting murderfied out there - why risk getting him hurt and totally biffing your playoff chances?

Interesting stat here. This game breaks Fitzgerald's 26 game streak of at least 70 yards receiving or a TD. FWIW.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet. Sorry if it has.

The Viking team that beat the 8-5 Cardinals looks nothing like the Viking team that had difficulty against the Lions. Too bad for all those detractors who were LOLing last week.
