Game Thread W15 - Minnesota V Arizona (1 Viewer)

Top 5 RBs in Vikings history according to Facecow:

1. Adrian Peterson

2. Chuck Foreman

3. Teddy Brown

4. Robert Smith

5 Bill "Boom Boom" Brown

Here we go again:

Winning 28-7

166 rushing yds so far in a little over one half of football

NFL leading rusher on the team

Potent passing offense that can come back in a hurry as your opponent

And.......you call THREE passing plays in a row and now get to punt putting the ball back in Warner's hands.

BRILLIANT CHILDRESS!!

Horrible, horrible call on Winfield for Defensive Interference. A ton of yards.

Picked up the flag! Justice prevails.

Unbelievable that they almost called that. What are defenders supposed to do, not go after the ball? Good job refs recognizing that

After coming out with some fire, the Cards just took a beating while attempting to move the ball against the Vikings. The only potential big play was broken up by Winfield. Other that that, Warner had a Vikings defender in his face each time making him just get rid of the ball to survive.

Momentum = nullified.

From CBS: "In his 80th career game, Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin reaches 500 career receptions in fewer games than any player in NFL history."

Pretty cool.
Boldin fumbled today.Pretty cool.
Just take your ball and go home.
Why don't you just go home, test tube baby!
I am not sure what that means but I am sure your name calling is not part of the "being excellent" program that Joe wants here.

Wow, take your dooshness elsewhere. Report me, I dont care. :kicksrock: Vikes are up 28-7, you cant get me down.

Adrian Peterson just attempted a spin, hit the turf, and the call on the field is a fumble. It's the opinion of Buck & Aikman that there's no chance this will remain a fumble and that the Vikings will keep the ball.

Peterson has now struggled to 140 yards through the 3rd quarter.

Fumble is overturned and Peterson has hit 153 yards.

Looks like we have some sort of drama on our hands here in the thread. Accusations of test-tubeiness and ball taking.

What will happen next?

Blocking a punt and returning it for a TD is an excellent way to capture that elusive momentum.

Vikings 28 - Cards 14

That's two kickoffs into the endzone for the Cards. Maybe it's common in Arizona, but I just don't see that many touchbacks.

Adrian Peterson just ran through or around 3/4 of the Card's defense for 9 more yards. When he's given just a little room, he's incredible.

TD Bobby Wade from T.Jackson. I dunno - 60 yards? Most of it running straight down the field after the catch.

The difference this game has been the job of the right side of the O-Line. Ryan Cook is back in there due to an injury and still they've pushed the Cards defense backward for the most part.

I'd say the difference is that our QB actually can move.. The defense can't just rush the middle and know the QB will be there. Not sure TJ has finally figured this out.. but he is definitely playing better than he did the first two weeks.

Combine those two things and you get a 4 TD game.I'm getting too high on the thrill of this game but I ain't gonna temper that just yet.

They still seem to be restricting the play calls, but Jackson is make the most of the chances he gets. The two long passes had perfect placement.

Jered Allen again limps off the field. Looks like he got tangled up with a teammate when going for the sack.

His impact and his performance can't be overstated. What a terrific acquisition for the Vikings even with the cost of the trade and the record deal given to Allen.

No, it was a fantastic deal, Allen is a rare breed.

Steve Breaston just made a jumping catch and was popped by Ben Leber for his effort. A flag was almost thrown because Leber didn't gently cradle Breaston to the turf when tackling him.

In a moment of maliciousness and general poor behavior...

[nelson]Ha Ha! Your Cards' RBs all suck.[/nelson]

Allen with another sack.

Wow. That Cards have FIVE running plays. Just a little bit of an unbalanced offense... I know that they're down 21, but wow.

Warner just threw a duck to Fitzgerald. Ced Griffin was in coverage and just waited for it to drop in to him.Being Ced Griffin he dropped it of course. Make that 1 interception for the season and that's the one today. Not for opportunities mind you - Griffin is just a poor starting CB.
For the most part, history repeats itself.Turnover on downs.
