Game Thread W16 - San Diego V Indianapolis (2 Viewers)

Wow, they ran it again inside the 5 then kicked a field goal on 4th and 1. Can't believe they lost the first down on the fumble, too. NFL.com is saying he got two yards, lost it, then recovered it 2 yards back to make it 4th and 1. Is that right?
They changed it...3-1-SD5 (:32) E.James up the middle to SD 3 for 2 yards. FUMBLES, recovered by IND-J.Saturday at SD 5. J.Saturday to SD 5 for no gain (D.Edwards).

FUMBLE!!  :D

Same thing, though, right? Edge fumbled, lost the forward progress, and the Colts went back to the original line of scrimmage?

Yeah, he had the first until he fumbled it backwards. (He wasn't the one who recovered it, though.)

Saturday recovered at the 5 for a net gain of zero.

Cool, thanks MT/KTM. I'd love to be watching this game right now, but obviously New England area fans are more interest in Cincinatti vs. the New York Giants.

Who is this guy and what has he done with Peyton Manning?
Is this the oldest brother? It's Peyton forcing plays. Dang idjot is going to lose the game forcing balls.of course, I'd be alright with that :)

Location location location - apparently those are your local games. :PGB having both our "local" teams play yesterday (KC and Denver) so we get SD/Indy, NO/ATL (who cares?) and Detroit / Chicago! It's a good day for football, unfortunetly with the in laws coming, I must help clean. :bag:

You gotta love the way Manning gets away with intentional grounding by throwing it at James' feet.

The Chargers get in Manning's face for 3 straight plays. On the 3d down Manning fumbled for the 2d time today but the Colts got it back again. The Chargers D is really impressing me (and everyone else) so far.

All quarterbacks do that. It is legal. Don't let your Manning anti-bias taint your opinion there.

Bigameitis (big-GAME-I-tis) n. 1. An illness characterized by shaky hands and uncontrollable choking. 2. To get 141 passing yards, 2 fumbles (1 lost), 1 INT, 0 TDs in a game where you need 1 TD for the all time passing record.

And the answer to this particular trivia question is "James Mungro".All three of his WRs (two of whom seem to be playing today) are just sitting there with a glazed look in their eyes.

That's not a late hit on LT??? This game seems like it's rigged by the refs.
That was a terrible non-call. So if you hit a guy out of bounds, but then try to help him not fall, that is okay?As for this game, Indy is showing me once again that they simply do not have the defense to compete with the big boys come playoff time. The Chargers, on the other hand, do.

LT2 and Gates on my team playing the dominant Manning owner. It's not on my TV but I enjoy it just as well.

Those Charger special teams are just not that special. Rhodes has been killing them...it was only a matter of time before he took one to the house.
