Game Thread W2 - Oakland V Kansas City (1 Viewer)

For those watching the game - are Russell's passes anywher near the receivers or are they dropping them?
Most of his passes look pretty bad, there was one that Curry should have grabbed. RunDMC is quick, he just needs to hold onto the damn ball.

There was a guy here talking about McFadden's lack of vision and lateral agility, and a few homers came crying to McF's defense and that was that. But that guy is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. It surely could change. Probably will. But at this point he's nothing but a straight-line back with 4.3 speed.ION, JRuss looks like garbage. And he's got all day to throw which makes it look even worse.
You are crazy. A guy named Bo Jackson is exactly what you describe. You were probably saying Bo Jackson was nothing but a straight line back with 4.3 speed as well. Ummm Bo Jackson? I am not a Raider homer nor a Raider fan, and you are insane. Mcfadden may struggle with consistency and staying healthy because his speed and the way he runs may be too much for his body to handle just like Bo, but Mcfadden is an extremely talented RB.

I thought the Raiders were bad after last Monday... what's scary is the Chiefs had 4 players take reps at QBs... 1 journey man QB, 1 "QB" who will be out of the league in 2 years, 1 WR, and 1 RB.

Horrible.

Injury update on Fargas?
From CBS:
It appears as though Fargas pulled a groin muscle and likely won't be back on the field for a few weeks. That's great news for McFadden owners, but bad news for Fargas owners. Fargas was seeing most of the carries the first two weeks as Oakland gets their star rookie RB accustomed to life in the NFL. Fargas has been a viable No. 3 Fantasy RB, but continue to check his progress leading up to Week 3 at Buffalo.

Imagine if he had vision.

Raiders line doing a good job, and McFadden getting a lot of space.

Kinda makes you wonder why he didn't see the ball more.

Ron Curry is awful. Chiefs pass blocking is scary bad.

13 receptions this ENTIRE game so far? A-friggin' mazing.

Carl Peterson and Herm Edwards are the most stubborn men in the universe. They have run a proud franchise into the ground. What they did today with the QBs was the worst thing I have ever seen. It was plan to everyone that Huard was in no way hurt.

If they cannot see that Croyle and Thigpen suck, then they need to be fired. If casual fans can see it, NFL management HAS to see it. The ego and stubbonress is appalling.

KC will be down for awhile guys.....until the current GM, coach and hell maybe even owner....are all gone.

Indeed. Sort of like Russell with a brain.McFadden is two-fold: Run up the guard's ### for short gains, or catch a toss/pitch and run straight ahead. If there's space, he's gone. If there isn't, he'll get nothing. And he'll probably fumble, too.He is what he is - an incredible athletic talent with a whole heck of a lot to learn about playing RB at the pro level. What he did in the first half will be what he does against legitimate NFL defenses. They won't fold in the second half and give him gaping, GAPING holes to run through.

Sleep tight.

I don't understand all the hate for a guy that is averaging 7 YPC in 2 games, glad I stuck with him again this week.
