Same problem as last year. Russell can not convert third downs. When he does, it usually with a deep pass. Being 3rd and 3 seems to have no benefit over 3rd and long.

He was much more accurate last week.

Woof. This is what happens when you draft a "tools" guy with #1 overall after a year where he very nearly lost his job entirely. I remember all the Elway comparisons coming out... After that terrible 3 of 18 start, Russell went a BLISTERING 4 of 6 to finish. 4 completions in 6 attempts has to be a personal best. They should just bench Russell and use him as their secret weapon on 3rd/4th down and 15+ to go, since that's about the only thing he can convert.

Does LJ really look decent? Rotoworld has been bashing him incessantly for weeks, saying he has lost a step, is slow, is hesitant. I fear Rotoworld has an anti-LJ agenda for some reason and would like some more feedback on how LJ has been looking, since I haven't seen either game. 3 ypc against the Raiders is troubling but apparently the Oakland run D is much improved?

How long a leash does Russell have? The Raiders cut Garcia seemingly in order to avoid a QB controversy, but that's not going to do the trick. WTF??. why are people impressed by this ####?? that pass was ####### horrible!! but since it was far & off his back foot(which is how he seems to throw 75%+ of his passes) people are like, WOW, what an awesome arm he has. HE SUCKS
