Game Thread W3 - Denver V Tennessee (1 Viewer)

This thread will be pinned once we're under way.

If you see something happening, please describe the play instead of eg "WOW".

Please describe more of what you see, things that will help other fantasy owners eg Player X is seeing loads of targets, Player Y is running the ball with authority today etc

Remember, not all of us are watching your game.

Tennessee got it to 3rd and 1 and a really lineball False Start call against the Center resulted in 3rd and 6 and a sack to the Broncos

On first Bronco drive Lloyd with one target - Orton standing in the pocket taking a couple hard hits - he is locking on Decker still.

Penalties kill the first TENN drive - they had some good plays with a mix of CJ runs and passes.

Orton down - roughing the passer hit to the head - and he slowly gets up and takes the next snap

Orton TD to Mathew Willis - good 50 yard drive. McGahee getting some tough yards and a nice 3rd down pickup to Lloyd along the way.

Hasselbeck TD to Nate Washington - beating Champs replacement

Looks like the Broncos have picked their poison to shut down CJ and Britt.

Decent Bronco drive stopped by an Orton overthrow to Decker which is picked off. My windows are open at home and I can hear the calls for Tebow as I write.

Botched snap on a Tennessee punt - Kern takes off for a long 24yrd run - and is slow to get up.

Looks like it was Orton's fault - bring in Tebow

CJ looks like hes just mailing it in.
He's going to end up with 8 rushing yards for the half. I don't know what's wrong, but something is. We're in the third game already. You can't chalk it up to excuses anymore. He's at home against a poor rush defense, and he's done absolutely NOTHING.

What a tremendous investment Tennessee made in CJ. Money well spent.

The guy had the nerve to hold out for a monstrous contract.

And now he can't deliver.

No excuses at this stage.

Hard fought half ends with some tempers building.

Bronco Run D is impressive - Joe May looking good. Ultimately it looks like the Dumervil/Bailey injuries may be their undoing as Hasselbeck has thrown well.

From the few runs that I have seen CJ make he tiptoes to the line - gets hit - falls down. For those watching the game is it an O-Line issue?

These Chris Johnson performances are not funny anymore. Ringer 3/-6 too but the problem for me is Denver is a pretty good match up. How about getting Johnson a few carries out of a shotgun formation?

Kenny Britt down maybe for an extended period is not good for him either.

Unless there is some kind of surprising effort in the 2nd half (of which so far we've seen no sign of) Chris Johnson is going on my bench on a permanent basis. He's going to have to show me something before he makes it back in the starting lineup. I advise all CJ owners to do the same. I've been patient, but there are limits, and they have been reached.

Heck of a drive from Orton - bullet to McGahee - worked with Decker a lot and a key grab by Spencer Larsen.

It's turning into a street fight on the line of scrimmage

ETA - 8:09 on Time on that drive. John Fox football has arrived.

maybe munchak thought a bunch of hard changes was a good way to assert himself, but firing his OC and RB coach (and his DC) plus installing all his 'unappreciated' offensive/ZBS ideas at once probably wasn't the best way to begin a short preseason with your stud RB holding out. a transition year regardless, but the colts don't have manning and the jags are starting a rookie, so nice work fixing something that wasn't even close to broke and screwing your chances to take your division.

If could get anything for Chris Johnson I'd take it, but there is just no way you can even come close to recouping the value I have invested in him. He is worthless though.
