Game Thread W3 - NY Giants V Seattle (1 Viewer)

Ok, I'm not watching this at all, and it sounds that Giants have some self-inflicted wounds, but is the Seattle D THIS good?
Did you watch their first two games? Yes, it's very good. Offense is good too finally.
Nope, haven't watched any Seattle games so far. It's one thing to shut down Detroit and Arizona which are good, but in my book the Giants have one of the better offensive units so this is really impressive.
I can't remember the Hawks having a better D. Have to go back to the Jacob Green, Dave Brown, Kenny Easley days. This unit is very, very good.
1984 team sent a boatload to the probowl. I doubt they'll be that good again for a looooooong time.

The rest of the NFC right now is saying"we cannot let them get home field advantage through out the playoffs"
No they are saying the Panthers will come back and Rex Grossman is the next John Elway.
I got five words for them:1) Look2) at3) the4) Seahawks5) Schedule.
Trips to Chicago, Denver, and KC will not be easy. Chargers and Vikings aren't pushovers coming to Seattle and there are those three divisional road games. I think they need to win four on the road to get homefield and that won't be easy. But I have faith.

Only if Curt hadn't gone down in that strange Monday afternoon night game against Cleveland. They would have gone to the Super Bowl that year.

Maybe the Seahawks will be moved up the power rankings after this week. I tried to tell people it was going to be Pittsburg with the superbowl loser jinx this year, but no one listened.

God I love that the crowd is still in it at this point. I just wish more Hawks fans would have made it to the Super Bowl. It was sickening how we were outnumbered.
I tried to yell for 3 of us GB, but ran out of voice by halftime. Literally. I had no voice until the next evening.
Wow. I couldn't talk for two days. I was so exhausted with all the partying, yelling, and the frustration that I slept from Monday night until basically Wednesday morning. At least I was in a Seahawk section (122) because I would have been beat up anywhere else.

You were at the damn game and we didn't grab a beer? For shame.
I told you I was gonna be there! I remember it like it was yesterday. Hopefully we can drink one in Miami this year. :banned:

Dolfan does not have a good resume. Back to the game...the Giants have showed some heart here late. That is something good for them but it has been benefited by dumb playcalling and sloppiness. Usually we get that up just 14.

Jordan Babineaux with the great special teams play. I sat behind his bro at the Super Bowl. Guy was hilarious talking with all the Steeler fans.

we work for a living. trust me, if I could have afforded it, I would have been there.
I couldn't afford it either. Pittsburgh fans came in their trailers. The ones they live in!
:goodposting:
 I'm a Jets fan from NY, but Pittsburgh is a really nice city - there's just not much OUTSIDE of Pittsburgh. (But from when I went to Seattle, I don't think there's much outside of that either). Their fans are also DIE HARD, which I really respect. Every 'Hawks fan I know is so ... eh. Maybe it's a West Coast thing, I don't know.but seriously, you guys need to get over the Super Bowl. You lost. It's over. Move on, and try not to throw 39 point leads away.

 This Guy is a Giants fan. What the hell brought this post on? It was a joke guy.

Pardon for bringing this back up, but any actual information about numbnuts Burress' disappearance appreciated. Apparently he was benched - ? If so, any clues about why (ie other than he's a dirtbag moron, which we all already know) appreciated. (call it morbid curiousity..)

It's amazing how good Eli looks running the no huddle. You'd think the coaches would recognize this and start games off that way.

I don't think he was hurt. I think he was benched for being disruptive.

It was after his fumble. Probably a "you can't keep fumbling" from the coach and a "#### off" fromPlax. :shrug:Just a guess.

Why is Joe Buck proclaiming the Giants are "right back in it" when they're down 3 scores with 9 minutes to go?

And why didn't Coughlin go for two when they were down 32?

Longshot, but 4 TDs and Conversion put in you in OT?

Proud of my guys for showing some fight when they could have laid down. Seattle has some work to do before you proclaim them NFC champs.
