Of course I don't blame him. The horrible O-line that looked adequate in the first two games got exposed badly. That's the worst performance I've ever seen.

birds showed how to beat the pats last season when they just lost by 3..but blitzed the hell out of brady.. ( giants followed suit ) looks like the eagles exposed pitt this season

Part of it is Ben holds the ball too long. He tries to do too much on every play. Sometimes you just gotta make the quick read and throw. Of course he's had multiple concussions over the years and for all we know he's got another the way he's shaking his head.

eagles defense is good, don't get me wrong. but you are watching one of the most pitiful exhibitions of pass-blocking i have ever seen in my life. steelers fans knew all along that the OLine is suspect and has been since last season. a big part of this is the result of the coaching staff being stubborn and sticking with the crummy line they had last year. tomlin, arians, et al, deserve a lot of blame for this debacle.

The Steelers are already in the red zone. Might as well go for the TD while you're there. Otherwise you're gonna need to get a TD from where you recover the onside kick which will be between the 45's.

Like I said, the final act of desperation for someone who knows they are wrong is to launch personal attacks at people they don't like.I'm not going to call you a troll here. I'm going to be kind. You are just desperate. But with a clear eye you must admit that Brittle Ben has suffered a shoulder injury and then went into the locker with a bad ankle or whatever. He's injury-prone. He can't stay healthy, his OL is terrible and my eternal advice to rely on him as a fantasy QB is 100% correct.

That was exactly how I felt watching it, Cross-Eyed. Simply brutal. And the guy who gets the worst grade of all is Chris Keomatu. Not only was he totally worthless trying to guard people, but he also killed us with one penalty after another. Just atrocious. As far as Ben goes, he is anything but "brittle." The guy is one tough mother ####er. But how much can you accomplish when you're already dinged up, and they're in on every play?
The Steelers are going to win this division by default, IMO. But until and and unless we shore up the offensive line, there's not much hope against good defenses in the playoffs.

The fact that at multiple points in his career he has played when it actually HURT his team because he was too injured to be effective doesn't mean he is not brittle.

It's all gravy, Steelers fans are some of the most down to earth fans.Kinda pointless to debate whether Ben is brittle or not. Didn't watch the game but it would seem that he's lucky to get out of this game breathing.
