Game Thread W4 - Buffalo V St.Louis (1 Viewer)

I really need SJax and Lynch to have terrible games while Holt blows up.

Or I need a time machine to go back and bench the Titans for the Jets and Holt for Breaston.

 
Hardy needs to freaking catch a ball. Should have had that TD.

And seriously, the O-line was better without Peters. He has sucked since going back in. Maybe the Bills made the right decision in not paying him. He can't run block at all and he has gotten beaten quite a few times on pass rushes. If this garbage keeps up, I'd rather they pull him and move Walker back to LT with Chambers are RT.

I haven't noticed. He's been that bad? Let's wait and see how he comes along. He missed all of training camp and preseason, so maybe he just needs to get smacked around for a couple games before playing hard.
 
This is what happens when one team believes that they can just show up and win. The Rams are a desperate team and want this game WAY more than the Bills do.

 
Come on, get Peters out of there! I don't care if the "experts" think that he's one of the best young LTs in the league. I don't care that he went to the Pro Bowl last year. He is TERRIBLE right now. That's what happens when you're a young guy and you miss all of training camp and the preseason when you're installing a new offense. False starts, no push on running plays, getting blown by for sacks on passing downs. Ridiculous.

 
That sweep play.... you see Peters jump in the group of people and not hit ANYBODY? Then get hurt on the damn play? Good riddance

 
Peters slow to get up. :coffee: If he had actually blocked a guy while he was pulling instead of missing the guy as he dove at his ankles.

And then Walker just immediately gets toasted for a sack.

Stroud out now for the Bills. Said to be holding his arm.

The Rams are just dominating both sides of the line right now. Crushing the Bills in the run game and constantly in the Buffalo backfield on the other side.

Green dodges a sack on two consecutive plays by Schobel. Rams on the Bills 42 with 1:43 left on the clock and go for it on 4th & 3? No wonder they're 0-3

 
Both of Lynch's big plays have been called back. This time it's a 27 yard run negated for tripping by Fowler... c'mon fellas. So what happens after the penalty? Edwards sacked.... wow this team looks pathetic.

What is going on with the Bills defense? I thought these guys were going to come up big this week.

Always a good idea to read your press clippings and not show up for a road game when you haven't made the playoffs in 100 years. God, unbelievable.
 
Yeah, this is the second week in a row when our team didn't bother to show up. Terrible o-line play, poor WR play, poor defensive tackling, ugh.

 
Did the teams switch uniforms before heading out to the field? I honestly halfway expected the Rams to completely lay down today.

 
Problem is the Bills aren't going to get their lesson out of this. If they pull out a win, they'll play like #### for first half or first 3 quarters again next week. Sooner or later that's going to bite them in the ###, especially against a better team. Chargers week 7 is going to be a nightmare if the Bills don't show up until the 4th quarter

ETA-just had an 11 yard run; are they switching series? Fred the 3rd down back for this drive?

The Bills are really just mixing and matching Jackson and Lynch. Jackson is just too explosive not to use him more. I know a lot of guys looked at the Bills and saw Lynch as a workhorse that wouldn't share any time, but after seeing what Jackson brings to the table last year, the Bills clearly realized they needed to get him more involved.
