Game Thread W4 - Jets V Ravens (1 Viewer)

TUCK RULE!!! That's not a TD. Ref screwed up.
Thought same thing except that rule is almost never applied the way it was in the raiders pats snow game. So sick of hearing the right call was made in that game when that rule is almost never interpreted that way. And yes I am still bitter.

Ravens have had so many penalties called on them I am surprised they have moved the ball as well as they have

Rice is pretty good, btw.

I just don't understand the defensive holding rule I guess. If you come up behind a WR and slap at his arm and slow him down from reaching the ball, isn't that a penalty?

I love the way Balt is calling plays this year. T. Smith is giving the just he dimension they have needed for years.

As a Steeler fan I will always dislike the Ravens but I'm begining to love Ray Rice as a player. That was awesome. Decleates a blitzing guy and then bails out his QB with a great catch down field.

i love watching him play. i've been lucky enough to have him in my local redraft the last 3 years (traded for him last year after the first few weeks) so i've watched a bunch of their games. he plays so hard every week

If it wasn't for that loss to the Titans, I would regard the Ravens as the 2nd best team in the NFL behind Green Bay. But that loss to the Titans is inexplicable to me.

Ravens look like they are going to dominate tonight. That hiccup against Tennessee was an illusion after they pummeled the Steelers. They look so balanced and on defense they are still top notch.

Tim, it's why Buffalo lost to Cinci today. You beat a great team like Buffalo did when they beat New England, Balt had just beaten their biggest rival and did so convincingly so it was actually not a shock. Teams have a let down after they win a big game. Last week Baltimore destroyed the Rams, tonight they keep the momentum going, they are going to win 12-13 games this year and probably be one of 2-3 Super Bowl contenders in the AFC. I think they are the best team in the AFC, and I think they could stay with Green Bay. Their defense is way better than Green Bay who is whipping up on inferior teams right now.

just when I was about to write, "wtf is up with rice out for 2 possessions in a row?" ...he appears.

Question for the experts: Does the botched snap out of the shotgun earlier count as a lost fumble for Sanchez? It is showing on ESPN.com as a fumble lost, but on MFL I haven't lost any points for it.

This game is very much over.
Huh???? You have that little faith barely into the 2nd quarter. Pretty lame...Baltimore needs to realize they need to run the ball. Flacco has already thrown in 22 times and has not looked that impressive. The Jets run defense hasn't been that great this year so far. Give the ball to the best play maker on the team and quit with the 40 and 50 yard bombs. It will burn them eventually...

I'm beginning to think that this NYJ team just isn't that good. To win with Sanchez and that offense they need to have an elite D. That don't seem to have that this year. Teams have moved the ball on them every game this year and that offense isn't going to consistently win them anything.

Incomplete pass. People outthink themselves with this. The ball landed 2 yards past where Sanchez was standing. The ball went forward. Incomplete pass.

This game is over. I will be surprised if the Jet's manage 100 yards of offense for the remainder of the game.

I thought that needing 20 points out of Sanchez and the TB Defense would be possible. Now, it looks like I'll need 30 from the TB Defense to make up for Sanchez being so bad.
