I am not happy either, but if you are going to describe the ineptitude of my team, please be accurate.Week 1 does count but I'm more interested in what they have done recently, not a month ago.
I'm not ready to give up on the season just yet.Give me Joey!
props to M. Williams. The announcer (I think it was Tasker) sais something funny after his .5 sack - "so, is M. Williams now winning the rookie battle against Bush? 1 and a half sacks against zero TDs?"(of course I disagree - RBush has clearly done more to help out the Saints than Wiliams has done to help the Texans, but I thought it was an amusing comment)Why is no one giving M.Williams any props today? He had 1.5 sacks and tipped the 2 point conversion pass at the end of the game?
Bush > Williams so far (and probably for the remainder of the season). Only thing is folks were quick to dog Mario when he didn't do crap in the first 3 weeks, but no one has anything to say when he has some type of impact.I hope they both have solid careers. I still wish we woulda took Vince though.props to M. Williams. The announcer (I think it was Tasker) sais something funny after his .5 sack - "so, is M. Did you see the play?First you said it was a hit that caused AJ to cough it up. Now it's that they both went up and Allen came down with it. NEITHER is true. I will try and find a link to the video via youtube or nfl.com but feel free to watch ESPN and tell me which "story" you're sticking to here.Evidently not because it was ruled an interception.what? he clearly got strippedTough call but I don't think AJ made a "football move" and therefore never really had posession. If AJ'd been hit at that instant and coughed it up I don't think it would have been ruled a fumble. It really wasn't clear-cut but if I had to say, I'd call it an INT.Am I wrong or did they not score this right?25) D.Carr pass short left intended for A.Johnson INTERCEPTED by W.Allen at MIA 44. W.Allen to HST 45 for 11 yards (A.Johnson).Seems to me like a catch by Andre and then he got stripped so a fumble. What do you think?
For it to be a fumble AJ would have had to demonstrate he had possession, which I don't think he did (goes back to the old "football move" clause). If a WR and a DB go up for a ball, both get their hands on it, and the DB comes up with it, it's an INT rather than a fumble.

I would like to see Lemon. It'll never happen with Harrington around but....Jagerbomber said:Does Culpepper keep his starter status? I must things are getting pretty embarassing with this Miami offense. Is this because of Mularkey?
Simmer down there, Nancy. Where did I ever say it was a hit that caused a fumble?I said if there had been a hit at that instant, with the amount of control that AJ had demonstrated it would not have been a fumble because AJ never controlled the ball.Bri said:Did you see the play?First you said it was a hit that caused AJ to cough it up. So if I understand you, Ignoramus, correctly; if something that never happenned had happenned then it wouldn't have been a fumble. Is this what you're saying? I find this very useful and thank you for sharing. Have you any thoughts on if Kurt Warner played RB?Simmer down there, Nancy. Where did I ever say it was a hit that caused a fumble?

It's called "drawing a comparison" and it's really just an excercise in trying to explain a point to someone who's clearly having a difficult time understanding the reasoning behind something. I tried making it simple for you but obviously my effort is wasted. My final suggestion to you would be to send an email to The Elias Sports Bureau and ask them to explain to you why it was an interception. Best of luck....So if I understand you, Ignoramus, correctly; if something that never happenned had happenned then it wouldn't have been a fumble. Is this what you're saying? Correct analysis, wrong conclusion. It is an INT because clear possession was not established. With the stupid "football related move" as if they would be performing a ballet related move? These days it appears that receivers need at least 3 feet down before any hit can cause a fumble and I have seen a full 3 down and then a hit and they still ruled incomplete. Therefore, clear possession was never established and when allen ripped it from his hands it is a INT and not a fumble. Here is a linkhttp://www.nfl.com/videoDid you see the play?First you said it was a hit that caused AJ to cough it up. Your first statement-There's no hit to cause Andre to cough it up, no clue what you're talking about or why you'd say that
Your 2nd statement- I still don't see Allen winning the jump ball, I see Andre winning it then Allen stripping it when he comes down which to me is a catch then fumble.
Exactly - Bri, you are really pissing in the wind here.Correct analysis, wrong conclusion. It is an INT because clear possession was not established.
