Game Thread W4 - San Diego V Baltimore (1 Viewer)

Most blatant kicker infraction I have ever seen. No call.
Ball bounced on the snap = no roughing the kicker
I wasn't aware of that ruling. It makes no sense whatsoever. Why would a bad snap make it permissible to crush the kicker after he gets the ball off?
I think the bad snap (or anything other than clean snap & kick) makes the punter a runner, and thus eligible to be tackled.

If this guy get into the endzone, my team is going to lose the game. I think I'll rub my shoulderpad on him. That ought to work.

As a Chargers fan I saw this coming from a mile away. This is Martyball at its finest. It cost them the playoffs in '04, cost them a playoff spot in '05, and will cost them in '06. This team will never be great until Marty is shown the door.

Wow, that was a bad game. Chargers dominated most of that game. Marty got conservative and waited for the Ravens to get their wind back. It'd be tough to say the better team won the game.

I just wish the announcer would shove his nose a little farther up McNair's butt.

:X

Hey Marty you are a genius. Glad you went away from your star player when it counted. Besides we all know what a lame pass-catcher he is.

Only time Merriman got his name called all day was when he knocked Heap into the endzone.

This is why Marty will never win a title. You can't play scared.

### #### Schottenheimer is the king if blowing 4th quarter leads. Will someone talk some sense into that idiot?

Should fire Marty tommorow. He gave that game away. How many passing plays were even attempted in the 2nd half? Pathetic.

I'm not normally a reactionary, but after coaching like he was playing with a multiple-TD lead early in the third quarter of both this and the Raiders' game, I might have to agree.

I am loathe to criticize the opposing team but it did appear that Marty got way too conservative in the second half. A lead of 6 is certainly not a safe one, even against a struggling offensive team like the Ravens. They were moving the ball in the air early on, much like Charlie Frye did the week before, and a more diversified attack in the third quarter may have made the difference.

Having said that, for the second week in a row I think the Ravens won a game that they wouldn't have last year.
