Game Thread W5 - Cincinnati V Dallas (1 Viewer)

where the F**k is Palmer!!!?!?!?I sat rodgers because he was a lock to start
Palmer "was a lock to start"?? :mellow:Hardly. Last I heard it was a gametime decision. Same as Rodgers. Sucks to be you
Actually if you payed attention to anything at all this week you would have noticed that Rodgers was very doubtful to start. He wanted to start badly because he didn't want to look like a wussy, but that was the only optimism I got from his news. It was a last second move to put him in the starting lineupPalmer on the other hand has been "good to go" since Friday.....and hes playing a Dallas secondary that has allowed alot of points and yards in the previous weeks. But yes it does suck to be me

If I was a mind reader, I would say that Chad Ocho Cinco Johnson was thinking "I wish I was a Cowboy" watching that drive.

As a homer, I did pay attention all this week to Rodgers' health. Everything I heard said rehab was going well and he'd be a gametime decision........ didn't hear a single thing different about Palmer. latest news was that throwing went well Friday and he wanted to play, but needed to be cleared. Also, last I checked, in most leagues you can alter your starter right before kick off. So, once Rodgers was named the starter an hour and a half before the game started, you could have subbed him in to actually ahve a "lock to start" QB playing. Good luck with 3 INTs from Palmer today

oline gave romo all day on that throw

interestingly they took MB3 out on that 3rd and goal play and put in felix

FJones is a stud

and we have a Benson sighting.....looked good on his two carries...

Ndukwe is an animal as well.

3rd and 1, 9 in the box and Benson makes a move on a sweep to get the 1st. Stumbled on his own feet but got the 1st

As a Perry owner, Bensons last 5 carries have me quite worried about the future. Perry fell late to me (as in most drafts) but the wishful thinking may be over at this point.

Funny what playing for your livelyhood will do...Benson showing more heart on two carries than he did with 300 in Chicago. It's always been a motivational issue with this turd...

wow, great buying of time by Palmer and great catch by Utecht if it holds......

Doens't look like it will hold

I'm a huge Tony Romo fan but he's got to play better. He's being careless with the ball IMO this year. He makes some great plays and Dallas can't win without him but he needs to be better if Dallas is going to take another step. Whether it be an INT, a fumble or whatever, I'm not seeing the dire importance of holding onto the ball.

Tough call for Cinci and anyone who started Perry, that call was ticky tack.......should be a TD Bengals and Perry.

palmer's passes definitely don't have the usual zip and he's being unusually inaccurate with time in the pocket... he's airmailing a lot of balls... the one to perry was ridiculous

Carson Palmer is playing absolutely terrible. He's not making throws he used to make, I gaurantee that.

I'm amazed at the lack of pressure Dallas is putting on Palmer. I know Dallas is up 17-6 but I'm unimpressed with Dallas today.

:coffee: something's not right with his elbow... at least i hope it's the elbow

Owens back to his glorious 2/3 catches a game routine. yay. POS.

Can this alleged top WR just not get separation from defenders any more or what?

vintage palmer on that last drive... night and day vs the drive right before the half... i guess he decided to screw it and let the ball fly

The lack of pressure on Palmer is the story of this game.

TD Housh and Palmer doesn't get touched. With a QB coming into the game questionable, I don't understand how you're not sending pressure constantly and that guy's picking himself up off the turf all day.

Frustrating day for Perry owners so far...

- Tough holding call on the rushing TD

- Uncatchable pass which would have lead to a TD

- Another close miss on a receiving TD

cincy is constantly in 3 wr sets and sometimes even 4 when they split perry out wide... hard to get pressure rushing only 4... although some of his passes have been absolutely horrid, you gotta give palmer some credit here
