Are you kidding me? How can someone be an NFL coach and call that play? Was that Les Miles calling the plays there? Were they really that scared of the Saints offense getting the ball back with 5 seconds on their own 10 yard line?

And then the stupid players down the punt when it could have rolled around for another 5 seconds at least. Seriously, is no one coaching these idiots?

And then Cromartie gets the pick and tries to return it rather than going down and almost gets it stripped from behind. What a diva.

Payton's offense has been SOLVED -- it's not injuries. No chance the Saints finish above .500. Last season was a huge fluke.

Is there a crazier team to guess what they are going to do than the Cardinals? They are beyond inconsistent.

Yep, teams are onto their offensive game plan. Not only have they been solved, but they are complacent and lazy.

Oh well, I think I can accept it. Nothing we haven't seen before.

seriously? Clearly there are countless injuries.....the reason last year was so successful is b/c we could establish the run. Without that, we're back to the 2008 saints. I don't think Payton's offense is solved....it just needs the running game to work....and our top 2 RBs have been out

They're Baaaaaack!!!
:goodposting:Hey, Goodell ... thanks for the 2009 Katrina-sympathy championship. Mighty nice of all our opponents to give up all those TOs and to let up a step in coverage at opportune times. It was very convincing ... the dives were well-executed.

Sorry, man ... would love to agree. But I don't respect the Cardinals w/o Warner. I think they are a bad NFL team, and whoever they beat are also bad.Wasn't seeing a running game with Thomas & Bush in there, anyway.

They are turning it over, not causing turnovers and Brees is certainly not the same right now with his accuracy and vision of the field. Clock management was terrible needing to call two timeouts back to back and come away with 0 points. Those things may improve with a run game, and with Sharper, Bush, PT, Porter healthy, but I don't think that's all it.

Not saying that the Cardinals are good by any means. but....with Thomas and Bush, they weren't calling running plays like they were last year. Also, Brees is clearly hurt more than they are leading on. Injuries are killing the Saints this year. I'm very worried about Brees.

Why was the 35-yard TD to Meacham changed to 50? Even the video says 50-yard TD when the LOS was clearly the 35-36.

Brees is clearly not the same since his injuried knee. His throws are off and weak because he does not step into them as before. Until he gets better Saints are in BIG trouble.

When announcers say "It couldn't be scripted any better" I always wondered what they were talking about. Now I know.

that's when a running game is crucial. it takes the pressure off brees. pierre/reggie are playmakers, pure and simple.
