Game Thread W5 - Pittsburgh V San Diego (1 Viewer)

Gates has dropped three balls in the endzone this year now.

I'm sure it's all Rivers' fault though.

Hines ward dropped that pass like he dropped that super bowl td last february.
Oh no... you aren't here to start trouble, are you?
 I've already ripped both clubs in this thread. But of course, its the steeler comment that draws a response. Its already well-known that steeler fans are sensitive homers. Don't make their case worse. But it is amusing he was "MVP" with a dropped td.
Dude, we've been through this already BGP. Your club is awful and your shtick is very, very GAY!!

great throw by Rivers there for a endzone jumpball. TD to some SD schlub I've never heard of.

so when did floyd become the money man for SD? <_<
Floyd has been very impressive in the last three training camps. He just hasn't gotten on the field much in the regular season until this year. (He did catch Rivers' first ever TD pass in 2004.)

If FBGs was a poker game, I am so far inside the Steelers fans heads right now its pathetic lol. I say one thing bad and 4-5 get rabid and lose control.

This is strikingly similar to last year's game played October 10.

San Diego had 52 total yards with two minutes left in the first half.

Then the Chargers scored a TD with an 11-yard Brees to Gates reception with 38 seconds remaining to get on the board. The differences are that last year the TD brought the score to 14-7 and a long kickoff helped shorten the field.

This year, the Chargers went 80 yards (instead of 47) and narrowed the margin to 10-7. With twice as much time remaining this year, perhaps the Steelers can find a way to tack on a FG.

The strangest stat to me is that by my calculations, the Chargers have 99 total yards in the first half -- the exact same as they did last year at the half.

I'm the guy that called you on it and I'm a Chargers fan.

never heard of this before -- Replay equipment failed. Imagine if that had been a call that deserved to be overturned .. not a big deal here but that has potential to be a trainwrec.

I am watching a video tape of Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction. By rule, I have to pause the tape for 2 mins.

Lookout ... it's "Air Marty" time
I really don't think they can continue to be pass-happy if they are to beat the Steelers tho. They have to establish that run and be run-first.
Why not  . Pitt is giving them single coverage on their wideouts. They should take it.
Because Schotty and Cowher are alike in that when they are most successful is when they very run-heavy. Cowher has taken that to another level, in fact.

Most of your comments concerning the Steelers have more to do with having your head far up inside one of your other body parts and not inside Steeler fans heads as much as you would like others to believe.

Am I the only one that got a little uncomfortable when Al Michaels said Floyd has a "seven inch advantage" on the defensive back?
