S. Moss 2 TDs today.
200 yards rushing on the day, if you can't pick up one here, you deserve to lose.
GO FOR IT!
I thought the Skins would be lucky to win one with back to back games @Dallas @Philly. Not bad and now the cream puff part of the schedule is coming.Portis with 158 total yards. After the Eagles took the quick 14-0 lead in the first quarter Washington has outscored them 23-3. In Philly. I'm surprised and impressed.
I thought they'd be very lucky to win those 2 games. But they looked pretty good doing it and surprised me. I don't put too much stock in "easy" parts of schedules, though. It's easy to let down or go backwards. This team isn't experienced enough at winning to go on cruise control yet, so I hope they keep playing as aggressively as they've been doing.I thought the Skins would be lucky to win won with back to back games @Dallas @Philly. Guy was blocked in the back. Maybe lucky return.Nice runback by peanut
Just got back from the sports bar. That was a very impressive win. Any other time this last decade if you'd shown me that first quarter in Philly, I'd have said "game over". This team is impressive in part because it's repeatedly able to absorb big momentum shifts to the other team, stabilize and adjust, and then take the momentum and the score back. I've not seen a Redskins team like this in a long, long time. 4-1 is not an illusion with this team. No smoke and mirrors here - they're playing very good football.I thought the Skins would be lucky to win one with back to back games @Dallas @Philly. The bigger issue IMHO is that Westbrook was gone after that point for most of the game. They are a completely one-dimensional offense without Westy, especially because McNabb just isn't able to reliably throw more than 10-15 yards downfield. Without Westy in there, they have no other way to keep the defense honest.Eagles paycalling after going up 14-0 was a complete joke. Mornewheig needs to go.
Westbrook wasn't gone for that long. Granted he didn't look very good when he got back, but I think he came back in the 2nd Quarter.ETA: Eagles first possesion of the 2nd QuarterPhiladelphia Eagles at 11:54 1-10-PHI20 (11:54) D.McNabb pass deep left to G.Lewis to PHI 42 for 22 yards (C.Horton). 1-10-PHI42 (11:16) B.Westbrook up the middle to PHI 45 for 3 yards (A.Carter). 2-7-PHI45 (10:35) D.McNabb pass incomplete short right to D.Jackson (C.Rogers). 3-7-PHI45 (10:31) (Shotgun) D.McNabb pass incomplete deep right to L.Booker. 4-7-PHI45 (10:24) S.Rocca punts 52 yards to WAS 3, Center-J.Dorenbos, downed by PHI-Q.Demps.The bigger issue IMHO is that Westbrook was gone after that point for most of the game. they said on fox that the skins threw 19x in the 1st haalf & used the pass to set up the run.
to run for 200+ against a team that had allowed an ave of 53 is very impressive
another tough one next week
Playing the Dodgers?another tough one next week
I can't think of many teams in the NFC that have consistently played better this year. Giants, Redskins and Panthers are looking like the best 3 teams right now.Considering how terrible the offense looked in week 1, I am shocked that this team is now sitting at 4-1, but mad props to how well they have played. The NFC East is tough as hell, and to win back-to-back road games against Dallas and Philly...wow. This team is damn good.
