Not sure if it's expecations this year or what, but this is first game I've turned off in years. I'm just so sick to my stomach. Philly outplaying us like we are an 0-5 team.

Is it just me, a coincidence, or is this defense just a lot worse when the rookie Weatherspoon is not out there? Is he that important to the defense already or am I over valuing him?

Disappointing, sure - but considering this is our 3rd tough road test I'm willing to give them somewhat of a pass. They haven't quit and still tryig to get back in it. Hopefully this helps us refocus and take care of our home games coming up. Our road schedule after today LOOKS easy which means we could still win 5-6 road game which would be great IMO.About Weatherspoon - the thing he does for us is he can cover. Good speed. I was thinking with him out that Celek was in for a good game but that hasn't panned out - more just Philly playcalling has been great and Falcons D has not been disciplined nor good enough.

hard to complain about this game. if the falcons have a timeout left in the first half, he might get a 1-yard TD run at the end. and they were down 14-0 10 minutes in or so, so that really limits how many running plays he can get. i had nice expectations for this game because the Eagles have struggled vs. the run and it just didn't pan out. trading him just got harder since my league is in philly and i was shopping him last week. guess i should have moved him in the offseason.

Just got home. Turner owner here. I see he had 45 on 15 carries. ^%$$##!!!

I thought for sure he was going to have a big day as Philly D has given up to some RB's some nice stats this year.

Can anyone who watched the game describe his game today?? Did he get hurt, Philly D play great, no holes??

atlanta didn't even get off the bus mentally for this game. philly completely controlled both lines of scrimmage. ryan played scared. the def coordinator was completely outcoached by mornhinweg. just a total team (non) effort.
