Game Thread W6 - Kansas City v Houston (1 Viewer)

Nice drive to start. Bit of everything: Bowe, Charles, Jones, McCluster.

And of course MIKE VRABEL of all of them steals the TD. Heh.

Chiefs are completely outplaying the Texans. They're a young team but they've GOT to find a way to win this game.

4-1 with Jacksonville and Buffalo at Arrowhead, and San Diego down 17-0 to a 2-3 team (that just got raped 44-6) = division title.

How is this thread so dead? Not many other particularly interesting games on. You've got the best WR in the NFL, 2 elite backs, etc., etc.

First long run KC has given up this year. Not surprised it came against the #1 rush offense, surprised who got it.

Nice answer from Houston. KC needs to re-answer.

Ward getting some looks, anyone watching the game see a reason why Foster isnt in? Shaken up? ineffective?

nevermind, ETA Foster is in at GL

Why did that Texans player do that? He was 2 yards out of bounds.
It's Bernard Pollard. He's a moron. That's what he does, and that's why KC cut him. Enjoyable watching the Chiefs gash them for 230-odd rushing yards while Cassel looks like Montana.

That was an awful pass interference call against KC. AJ clearly pushed off.

I also have no betting or fantasy interest, for the record.

Andre Johnson, welcome to Flowers Island. We hope your stay is a nice one.
My favorite post.
AJ did nothing against Flowers. NOTHING. Other than push-off and somehow draw a DPI, which is the worst call I've seen all year. Flowers got literally pushed out of the play and the officials somehow deem Flowers to have interfered. :bag: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OBTW, this is the worst broadcast team ever.
Couldn't agree more."This is going to be a very long field goal." Chiefs down by 4 with .01 left on the clock. :bag:
Did you see the false start earlier in the game? The guard clearly moved, the refs called it on the tackle and those two idiots are showing the play over and over again saying the Chiefs got screwed because Houston was in the neutral zone. Missing it once, ok. Missing it four times when we can all see the guard move is unforgivable. That game took me back to the days of Todd Christensen broadcasting. Not sure who they were, but man they were bad.

I have no idea who they were either, but I know one was a former WR because he mentioned it a dozen times.

Epic choke job by the Chiefs
They were up by 10 with plenty of time to play, and they played the Texans and refs on the road. Hardly.
Um, 21 fourth quarter points by the Texans. Choke job!
Dude, your team was 6-0 last year and finished 8-8. You should know what choking is by now. They got 7 on a 45-yard short field and another 7 on a gift. They're a young team that lost by a nuthair to the Texans and refs while on the road. The refs have been good to the AFC South against the Chiefs. If the Broncos stay within 3 TDs of them I'll be surprised.

Haha, yea, I was sitting there jaw-dropped at that. Antonio Smith breaches the neutral zone pointing at the guard that moved and neither announcer bothered to look to see if the guard did move. The team was Gus Johnson and Steve Tasker. Johnson is usually one of the best color guys on TV, but the game today was wholly unenjoyable from production (not be able to handle the Chiefs' hurry up offense) to the announcing.Regarding the PI call on Flowers, it should have been a non-call but was declined anyway. But, if you Chiefs fans want to complain about it, look no further than the PI call against Kareem Jackson on third down on the first drive of the game or the trapped ball by Bowe called a catch, both of which ended up costing the Texans 7.

Gotta love the internet. Here's the pass interference that was called on Flowers:

Wow.
It didnt matter, he caught the ball.
Funny. He doesn't catch the ball unless he pushes off (at least from Flowers standpoint). If the O interference call is made, who knows what happens. Either way the Chiefs D needed to sac up and play D. They didn't. Can't hang this on one bad DPI penalty. Rather hang it on a questionable 3rd and 2 call by Haley. Can't understand why you don't pound Jones up the middle, maybe even twice. Especially when you have run the ball for 200+ on the day. Sometimes boring is ok.
