Game Thread W8 - Indianapolis V Denver (1 Viewer)

Time to see what Denver has learned from the last few times they've gotten their asses handed to them by Indy.
In their last 4 games, each team has won twice. Just an FYI. :)
Yeah, but going back to 2001 the Broncos are 1-1 in meaningless games (season ender in 2001, season ender in 2004) and 1-3 in meaningful games (SNF loss in the snow in 2002, SNF win in Indy at end of 2003, 2 playoff blowout losses). At any rate, even as a Broncos fan, I don't feel good about this game.

You really going to count a week 17 game when the Colts rested their starters?
Well, a win is a win, right? ;) Besides, who is to say the Broncos wouldn't have won that game, had the Colts played all of their starters?

I am nervous, too. To me, it is all on the offense. The offense has got to step up today.

1-10-DEN 38 (10:51) J.Plummer pass incomplete short right to J.Walker.

2-10-DEN 38 (10:48) J.Plummer pass incomplete deep right to J.Walker.

Given the Colts wretched run defense, I am little surprised Shanahan came out throwing the ball. Probably trying to catch the Colts off guard a bit.

Awful call.
What happened? I do apologize, I'm stuck with Browns-Jets as my only option (it's not even in HD!) right now and have no idea beyond the ESPN GameCast.
Plummer went into his slide and one of the Colts was diving and hit his shoulder as they both went down. At first I thought the call was a blow to the head, but he just brushed his shoulder.

anyone else watching this on comcast hi def? Looks kinda jerky to me? Only during the game though. Commercials seem fine

Not too bad for Denver in the first half, although I do think they got some gifts on calls and dropped balls by Indy. Manning playing from behind scares the bejeezuz out of me though.

I'd love to see a nice 6 minute drive to start the quarter here--even if it ends in 3 points...
