Game Thread W9 - Baltimore @ Pittsburgh (1 Viewer)

ESPN is giving Brown the fumble, Yahoo and NFL.com is giving Wallace the fumble. There is going to be some controversy on this one!
Nah... ESPN will change it. They also have Cundiff hitting twice as many FGs as he did.
And they have Rice with 28 rushing yards instead of 43.
ESPN is pretty pathetic. This is the first year I've been in a league over there and it's not impressive at all..... although the live updates are pretty quick.

Harbaugh's post game conference, jeez..I thought beating the Steelers was their super bowl, but he sounds like he just eliminated the Steelers/won the AFC

I hope we have round 3 in the playoffs :football:

The only reason I can come up with for the press coverage strategy was that that was how Tennessee and Jacksonville beat the Ravens.

Brown never has possession so the fumble should go to Wallace.
That makes no sense. When a QB pitches the ball to a RB and he drops it the fumble goes to the RB. It completely Brown's fault that he didn't gain possession since Wallace softly put the ball in his chest.

# 3 would be great! It's very, very possible. San Diego (AFC Winner even though Rivers SUCKS) could be a 1st round play-off opponent for the Steelers as a wild card. That could set up a # 3 game. Maybe? :banned:Note: Replaced would, with could ( be a 1st round ) YADIYADIYADA

let us know when you jump off Wallace's dong
That's fantastic analysis. I'll keep you informed. I just don't understand why you have to be insulting instead of discussing the topic at hand.
Fumble goes to the (intended receiver) which in this case was Brown on the hand-off from Wallace.

Only if Brown had control of the ball and made a football move. He did not. It's Wallace's fumble.

It makes perfect sense, how can you fumble something you never had possession of?It may suck for FF purposes since it clearly wan't Wallace's fault but from the NFL's POV you can't charge a fumble to a player who never had possession of the ball.

Definitely right. Just as on a botched handoff the fumble always goes to the QB.

True except when the snap is muffed. In that case the QB gets charged with the fumble even if the QB never touched the ball.
