Game Thread W9 - Denver V Pittsburgh (1 Viewer)

You act like champ is making spectacular defensive plays to intercept those passes. Give me a break. If Ben throws that 2 feet higher it's a TD. Champ is a bumm
Its all about positioning, if the ball was thrown differently he would have been in a different spot.
I don't think so. Champ already sprinted to get where he was at. And he still had to jump to get his fingers on the ball. Mute point, but it wasn't a great int by any means.

Who cares? An INT is an INT, no matter how you slice it.

I cant watch the game because the stupid browns v chargers is on, but i was just stating in general on deep passes both the WR and DB have a bit of time to position themselves and champ is pretty good at it.

I can tell you don't have an athletic bone in your body, with that comment.
Are you talking to me?-How can you say that on deep passes the wr/db dont have time to adjust and fight for body position? Have you ever covered someone deep? When the ball is in the air you can use your body to shiled the WR.-With that said I did not see the champ bailey play as I have stated, so im not talking about that play.

why do pittsburgh fans think like this,

if you take away the trick play that should have been stopped for a loss and take away the 21 turnovers this year and take away all the stupid penalties, we would be a very good team! Give me a break, all those take aways you talk about are part of the game. Think about it, If you didn't blow out Palmers knee in the playoffs and the refs don't blow 3 key calls in the SB you don't win the SB. What I am saying is listen to yourself and stop making excuses. It gets old hearing the same thing week after week.

This Denver team is cracking me up. Steelers is driving up and down the field on them all day, and someone makes a tackle and they jump up and give the wiggle. This is funny, as I watch Parker run in for the TD

Gee, that doesn't sound like every other team in the NFL.

I'm with you on that. I really didn't make that point, but I can see where you might of thought I was headed in that direction. I'm the first to tell you that you need a lot of luck in the NFL (especially to win the Superbowl). All those things when in the Steelers favor last year, and we're not getting those breaks this year. That's why we love the NFL

First, not all Steelers fans think that.If this was a one-game thing, I would. But the Steelers have made enough big mistakes in enough games this year that have cost them 2 or 3 wins that it's not just a fluke anymore. This is a careless team, at least so far, and they've earned a 2-5 record. That said, they've got a lot more talent than you'd expect on a 2-5 team.As for the other stuff, they could've very easily beaten Cincinnati with or without Palmer and there were a ton of factors that went into the Super Bowl, but those arguments are really, really old now. It's a new year.

thit is my point, It is a new year, and none of those old arguments would be brought up if we didn't hear every week how Pittsburgh gave this game away and gave that game away, 1 or 2 games you can give away and it is part of the game but you don't give 5 games away. At some point it falls into a bad team with SOME talent.

Edit, saw above posts, anyway, was it a bad pass by Plummer, or a good play by the DB?

That is a joke steeler fan, don't jump me for that one hehehe

Okay Javon, you've proved your point...you and Marty Schottenheimer have helped cut my lead from 40 to 6. You can stop now.
