Game Thread W9 - Green Bay V San Diego (1 Viewer)

C'mon Rodgers... and Jordy starting in place of Calvin Johnson (on BYE) this week.

But most of all... GO PACK! :banned:

 
Green Bay's defense better make it a little tougher for them the rest of the day or it is going to be a long day for them.

 
I did not pick the Chargers to win this game in the pick em thread because I wanted to make myself look smart. But I do expect a Charger win here.

My first intuition was to pick the Chargers but changed it back to the Pack.Check out #12 in the white shirt... he is pretty good. Did you just hear the "KKKKKUUUUHHHHNNNN" from the crowd in San Diego?
 
Looking at GB's schedule, this way really the only "hot" weather game on the road. I would expect a lot of Green Bay fans.

 
Rodgers legs are one of the main reasons I would take him over Brady and Brees. His legs got the Pack 7 on that last drive.

How is that a horrid pass? It's a timing throw to Gates coming out of a break. The defender made a nice play to stay with Gates and tip the ball. You might have also noticed that Gates didn't have any separation.On the play before that, don't understand why Gates didn't catch the ball with his hands. He jumped up to catch it with his body, which is why the hit dislodged the ball. Should have been a catch.
 
The Packers Def is similar to the Saints the year they won the Super Bowl. They give up a lot of yards, a good shuck of points, but they create turnovers. With the offense they have, a lot of the time that will be enough.

hello? The packer player was in front of gates. It was a HORRIBLE throw. What, you don't look at coverage when it's a timing route? what?

Gates wasn't even close to being open. So horrid throw to force it to him.
