Game Thread W9 - Minnesota V San Francisco (1 Viewer)

Why not play Tarvaris Jackson (unless he's still hurt?) Be nice to see what he has and let him learn on the job. This team is not going far this year and Brad is not the future. (nor is Bollinger).

Not sure Tarvaris is active today??This F'in sucks. If that was Culpepper out there sucking this bad people in the Twin Cities would be asking for him to be fired and not brought back on the plane.Brad Sucked last week and, against one of the worst Defensive teams in the league looks just as bad today.Time to Move along, Brad isn't going to take us any where.

Come on F'in Offense. The defense can only do so much.

I'm calling it now..

4 Minute and 9 second TD drive.

Chester over the top as the time expires.

Shhhhhhhhhhh, don't wake me I like the end to this crappy dream.

Can someone explain to me how Minnesta hired Childress instead of Nolan or whatshisname (their ex OC)?

Twice he's tried the stupid home run ball when he needed half a dozen yards at the end of the game and both times BJ throws into double coverage. :wall:

Tired of this Crap. Play the F'in Rookie. We may not win, but he sure the heck can't be that much worse then what brad has given us so far this year:

Going into today:

227att 142comp 1484 4 TD's 7 Int's

Now:

263att 163Comp 1520 4 Td's 8 Int's

and that doesn't count all the fumbles.

:hot:

Only good thing about today is that the Packers lost also so Packer fans around me won't be rubbing it in as much. :P

Please explain to me again why MeMo isn't given the ball more on offense? :wall:
 Chester ran it very good today. Unless M.M. can throw I don't see how he can do any better than what Chester has been doing.Chester Stats:26 96 Rushing8 45 Receiving... Lead the team in receptions.

Sorry, but less than 4 ypc and less than 6 yards per reception isn't very impressive to me. The 49'ers get raped by opposing offenses and yet that's all Minnesota and Taylor could muster. I'm not suggesting MeMo should replace CT as starter, but you certainly could find a half-dozen carries and a handful of passing targets per game for him. The guy is way too explosive to just use him as a returner IMHO.

No was inactive last week. Not to sure about this week but I know he isn't Ir'd..

The Vikings are awful

Let's see

The 49ers have given up 27, 13, 38, 41, 20, 48, and 41 for an average of 32.5 points a game and Brad Johnson led the team to 3 points?

He is not going to take the Vikings anywhere. He hasn't led the offense to a TD in the last two+ games (actually 9 quarters) and posseses that impressive 74.5 rating.

This is the same guy that MN fans thought was underpaid?

Keep playing him Vikes, you will get a better draft pick.

You know, earlier, I was calling for a change at QB. but to be honest, his WR's SUCK.They flat out suck and he has no faith in them, and it shows. Childress' play calling is ULTRA conservative, and the line cannot run or pass block as good as they are CONTINUALLY touted to be.

:shrug:Considering the defense's know the only thing the Vikings can do right now is run and they are going to run a lot I think he is getting all he can get.Taylor gets better as the game goes on. Also, I'd blame the play calling before blaming taylor. They had a stat up a couple weeks back that showed when he ran right or left he had a Avg. Per carry of 5+ yards. When he runs up the middle 3 something. yet about 70% of the runs are up the middle. :loco:
