Unnecessary roughness on the end of the Peterson run? Paging Bill Bellicheat...
Oh shut up you whiny little girl  Peterson    Vikings   Pats
My point was that notice how a play that can be perceived as showing up the other team leads to the personal foul. Hell I own ADP so I was hoping he'd top 300 but by doing this they gambled that somebody would cheap shot him. It's a valid reason for concern. Plus I didn't feel like trying to spell Bellichik correctly.-QG
If teams don't want to get 'showed up' they should play some defense. This is not a game for crybabies and if you can't handle being embarrassed because another team is better, then you shouldn't be playing OR watching football. Taking cheap shots and complaining about getting beat too badly is as classless and pathetic as it comes.
No cheap shot on ADP. Just a standard horse collar.

I agree 100%. The OP was insinuating that it was not, and that APs performance could possibly be construed as 'showing up' another team.

I'm not defending the cheap shots. A smart coach has to realize that they are gonna come.-QG

Okay was going on the fact that there was a personal foul. Glad they got away with riskin' him.-QG

I love him. :bag:
:wall:8 games left and they have already equaled the win total you said they'd be lucky to win all year. :bag: :bag:They are 3 inches to the right from being 4-4.With anything that resembled a QB and a Coach could be 5-3.If they find a QB in the off season the future will be bright. :(

For those of you who watched this game, didn't it feel special to watch? I mean, everytime that guy gets the ball, I literally hold my breath to watch what he's going to do.

I think there is little doubt AP goes 1.1 in about 90% of most startup dynasty and redraft leagues next year. He is AMAZING. And for those that didn't watch the game, he could have VERY easily had 4 TDs as Chester got one goal line carry.

Taylor fumbled away another one at the goalline earlier in the game...

The Chargers mostly held him in check in the first half. Peterson looked great individually, gaining four yards when he should have gotten one, but he wasn't getting much room to run.In the second half, I wasn't paying attention to stats while watching the game. I noticed that the Chargers absolutely couldn't tackle Peterson at all. Peterson was making people look silly. But I was pretty surprised when the announcer said that he was closing in on the single-game rushing record. (I think he had about 200 yards at the time.) Aside from the one 65-yard TD, he was getting yards in consistent ten-yard chunks, not in a few big plays. He was nearly unstoppable today. Definitely a lot of fun to watch.

My only wish is that Childress would have realized how special a player AD is earlier in the year.

The NFC is such a mess anything is still possible.

But it sure would be a lot more interesting if they were 5-3 instead of 3-5.

Next week at the 7-1 Packers.

Hopefully the defense can grow from today and keep it close so AD can be a factor All day!

Exactly. The truly amazing thing is he only had about 60 yards at half on 3y/c. In the second half the guy put up almost 250 yards! Peterson is great but I swear MIN looked like the KC line in their prime in the second half. There were runs where Peterson didn't get touched until he was running by the LB's. Amazing performance by Peterson but also an amazing performance by that OL.

I knew Peterson was great, but didn't know he was a mutant superhero. It's just too bad that they don't have a QB because they'd be an NFC contender if they did.The line finally played to their ability today.Nice win.

Think they'll pursue Anderson?

 They have to do something. All of a sudden, the window has been opened wide open to a Super Bowl run in the next 1-3 years. With someone like Anderson or McNabb they're certainly in the mix.

:pokey: look at the remaining schedule:

@ Packers.. Tough to win there at this point.

Home vs. Raiders.. Should win..

@Giants. Another tough place to win..

Home vs. Lions. Loss by 3 inches in Detroit.. Toss-up with that passing game.

@49ers.. 49ers not looking good.. Good chance to win..

Home vs. Bears.. Should win.

Home vs. Redskins.. Toss-up match right now..

@ Denver.. Another Toss-up..

As long as Childress doesn't try to coach himself off this team there is no reason they shouldn't reach my original goal of 6-10 or 7-9.
