Game Thread Week 4 - San Diego vs. Pittsburgh (1 Viewer)

SD gets no pressure on the QB on a consistent basis. They will get to him sometimes, but not enough pressure on the pocket, the loss of Williams is evident. He puts so much pressure up the middle, it makes everyone around him better.

Who is more over rated as a player? Phillip Rivers or Hines Ward?
Nice try.
I don't fish GB. Check the records.
10,000 career recieving yds and one of the emotional leaders of two Superbowl winning teams. He's the best blocking WR of all time. No coach in the NFL wouldn't want him on their team. I fail to see where he is overrated. Even if you are talking fantasy purposes he is vastly underrated every year.

The Steelers are approaching 500 yards, over 30 first downs, nearing 40 minutes time of possession, but it's still not a safe win. Hard to believe.

Willie Parker could not piece together a game like this at this stage in his career. Tomlin has been loyal to him but I just dont see how he gets his job back.

I'm pretty sure I could have pieced together a game like this with the way the Steelers were manhandling SD within the first 12 yards of the line of scrimmage.

So they were showing those brief little 2 second highlight clips as they went to commercial, and one of them was a couple SD defensive players celebrating. I wonder if they pulled that clip from another game.

Go for the Jugular and play-action to Heath Miller in the end zone.

(The fact that I have Roethlisberger and my opponent has Mendenhall has nothing to do with it.)

He's lost the extra step that made up for him not having great vision and he is a FA at the end of this year with no forseeable reason to re-sign him. Tomlin may not be that loyal, he is just looking for a reason to trust players.
