Game Thread - Wildcard - Washington V Tampa Bay (1 Viewer)

damn, Bucs with some nice kick returns. Pregame, Berman mentioned that they never had one for a TD and that today "was a great time for the first."

Dammit....why do I get the feeling this game is going to come down to John Hall. I've had enough of kickers costing teams games!

Oh, and usual, the clueless ESPN crew had no idea what was going on when Gruden was trying to challenge.
I think Paul Maguire actually suggested they might be challenging the spot. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

we only had one look at the replay, but the announcer commented that the knee was down
Maguire was wrong. They showed one half-assed replay and they didn't even notice the fumble when it happened live and Maguire is far too arrogant to immediately admit on the spot that he was wrong.Oh, and for the record, I dislike the Bucs more than the Redskins, so I really have no rooting interest in this game. I just think Washington got away with one there.

Hall is doing the ST no favors by kicking balls to the 15. If we wanted this, we could have signed Nick Lowry

They're too busy polishing each other's knobs to actually pay attention to the game and see what happens. I had no idea they were calling this game, I thought we were done with them. Looks like there will be more bonghits than I thought to get down to the level where I can understand them. NOT the way I wanted to start out with my HD/Pro Logic experience, bought and set up just for the playoffs.

It is going to be our ball regardless...the only question is will it be 1st and 10 or for the extra point.Wow!

thats definitely a fumble by Caddy(nice day for him so far...lol), but we couldn't really see if the Redskins defender who initially picked it up was down by contact or not...in fact, we couldn't even really see when and how he picked it up....crazy play though with him then fumbling and Taylor being in the right spot at the right time.

That's gonna be down by contact. Redskins ball at the spot of the fumble. :kicksrock:
did you even see who picked up the ball? I know that I didn't from that angle....pretty hard to tell anything yet.

It looked very clear that Caddy's leg touched the defender several times. You could see the foot bounce off the white jersey.

I can't believe Maguire wasn't watching his feet!!

Washington was being taken down by #79(?) I can't see how he wasn't still on his ankles once Washington gained possession. But i'm rooting for the skins so I'll take it!

there is no indisputable evidence either way there imho.
hate to toot my own horn, but... :goodposting:
They just showed another replay and you can see Caddy's foot slide all along Washingtons boday as they he stands up. The refs probably don't get the sky-cam for replay. Too bad cuz they missed this one.

Taylor is taking it upon himself to show the world how much BS it is that he did not make the Pro Bowl. The kid is a stud, STUD, and a playmaker to boot!

So far:-Tampa with 3 and out-Redskins with a nice drive that almost gets a TD pass from Portis. Washington gets right outside of FG range and punts.-Simms INT-Portis TD on one play drive.-Bucs drive into Skins side of field then fumble. Washington picks it up for a TD.
