Does Plummer really have 10 different receivers? The stats look pretty good for him, but the big "L" wil ensure Cutler starts next week.
Oh wellThat's what I'm hoping for...
dang near 70 carries in the last 4 days, I can't imagine there isn't any body part that isn't bruised..Does LJ's head look bruised?
Best case 2-1 here. If they get a split between Baltimore and SD I would be happy.looking ahead..KC @ CLEBAL @ KCKC @ SD
There is no reason to hold back on Cutler anymore. Even if Denver manages to back into the playoffs this year, no way in hell they get through the first round playing like this. As much as Denver is in the thick of the playoff hunt, in reality they have nothing to lose by shaking things up a bit.i hate to say it but I don't see Denver going to the playoffs this year....they are terrible.
You're nuts. Plummer isn't that bad. The Broncos have major problems in their running game and in their pass protection. At least with Plummer you get mobility. Cutler would have gotten smashed sitting in that pocket tonight. There is no reason to hold back on Cutler anymore. Plummer didn't single handedly lose this game (not sure where you got that I said that), and arguably he doesn't lose any game by himself. But he is also not doing a thing to push them over the hump either, and he's killed them in way too many key situations this year. Cutler will certainly take his lumps, but I still think Denver has nothing to lose at this point. You're nuts. Plummer isn't that bad. I quoted you, but it was more of a venting from what appears to be the general consensus of the Broncos fans. I agree that Plummer isn't going to win games by himself, but this team has a lot of problems outside of Plummer's control. There had to be at least 6 dropped passes tonight, he was constantly under pressure, and they had no run game whatsoever. Putting Cutler in is tossing the season away. At 6-4 that seems way too drastic.Plummer didn't single handedly lose this game (not sure where you got that I said that), and arguably he doesn't lose any game by himself. Well, if the rumor is true, we'll soon find out if putting in Cutler is really conceding defeat or not. You are right about the tons of other problems Denver has right now, I completely agree. I'm just cautiously optimistic that a major replacement to one of the more prominent problem areas will help turn things around. they've been on the field too much.Isn't this the same defense that didn't give up a single TD the first 18 quarters (or something like that) to start off the season. WHAT HAPPENED?It's not like anybody got hurt or anything....
I understand your point, that everyone is pinning everything on Jake, but Cutler has decent mobility as well. You're nuts. Plummer isn't that bad. I think Cutler is probably more athletic than Jake. Cutler will be an improvement over Jake in just about every way, except for rookie mistakes, where he will be equal with Jake, until next year.I understand your point, that everyone is pinning everything on Jake, but Cutler has decent mobility as well. You're nuts. Actually, I personally see 3-0 as the best case scenario.I think 2-1 is what will occur. They'll beat San Diego and Baltimore will not come into Arrowhead. Not a chance.Best case 2-1 here. If they get a split between Baltimore and SD I would be happy.looking ahead..

(I know you weren't...) But please don't insult LJ.Alexander isn't in his league.scott72 said:It is too early to say that LJ is going to be a very large draft risk next year? He's looking at another 30 + carry game which is his 2nd in 4 days. Is next years LJ this years SA??Cleavage Connoisseur said:I bet a friend of mine $ 20.00 that LJ goes over 150 rushing today. He's getting there.
Not that either was great, but they were having much less success on the ground.I haven't followed the whole game tonight, but why did Denver abandon the run? 14 rushed compared to 36 passes? They were only down one score..Whats the deal?
People really need to get a clue with Herm Edwards. He's a very GOOD coach.Cleavage Connoisseur said:Let's see how Herm screws it up this time.
