Georgia Youth Football Coach puts a beat down on player (1 Viewer)

That's insane.  At first I thought it might be his own kid.  That wouldn't justify anything, but I thought maybe that's why other adults would be hesitant to intervene.  Every adult in the area ought to be banned for life from youth sports.  This coach should be criminally charged even if the kid's mom doesn't want to.  Someone needs to look out for the kid.

This looks like the youngest level of football.  The game looked like it was over and the coach had plenty of time to calm down from whatever..what could that kid have done that deserved that?  Nothing..

wow

The coach could not be immediately reached for comment on Friday at a phone number listed for him in Savannah. But in a video seen on NBC affiliate WSAV in Savannah, a person appearing to be Williams said he regrets publicly reprimanding the child.

“I’m not going to make excuses for what I did. I was wrong. I shouldn’t have disciplined him in public, I should’ve waited until we got back,” Williams said. “At the end of the day, I apologize to him, the kids, the city down here and my family back at home.”

The bolded makes you wonder what he would do when others aren't around.  Scary.

For some reason I doubt this was an isolated incident.  Feel bad if this man is married.

Really hope this guy doesn’t have kids of his own. Can only imagine how they are treated if this wasn’t his kid.

Just read the guy is/was a counselor at a detention center. Odds are he has put some good beat downs on other kids as well.

Pretty sure he did that in private to keep it legit...
