I looked at the second to last play that started with six seconds a few times. It was at least seven seconds that play, clock didn't start for two seconds, that's insane that the home team can control the clock
Gotta say....premier WRs TRY to get their feet down in bounds there...that close to the end line they aren't going to reach backwards towards the OOB line to brace the fall.Dez has a ton of talent, but a ten cent brain
This play doesn't show his goofball side. Premier WR's are ALWAYS aware of the end line and sidelines and make every effort to come down in bounds on every catch. Reaching back like that is very much a natural thing...doesn't make him a bad WR or any less talented...but if he's ever to get to the next level and become the premier WR his talent level dictates, he needs to remain aware of that endline on that catch, and NOT reach backwards and touch it on the way down.
I know it wasn't conscious, but it was almost as if he knew how far to reach out his arm to touch the line when they show it in slow mo
3 years in the league, babied by the boys and he still makes stupid mistakes(kick return) even after they lecture him last week. When the F is he going to "get it".
No, but maybe more leeway on a finger touching white paint rather than the other 99.9% of his body. Years ago that was a TD with little discussion. I just find it disappointing that we can't celebrate TDs anymore until a 3 minute review has taken place.
A body part touching out of bounds has always been, and always will be, no catch. Replay is the only reason they're able to see it sometimes, but never has OoB been "different".
