**Giants at Eagles**(-7, 44) (4 Viewers)

Vegas is knocking it out of the park this week. I think they've got this one on the nose too.

AJ Brown is a sizeable loss, but NY is probably one of the teams it will be felt against less. I do think DeVonta Smith eats a lot this week, like maybe WR1 overall if things break right. I also think Brown's absence causes more a of Jalen Hurts rushing gameplan. I think we might get a return of multiple rush TD Hurts this week. I do think Barkley still struggles against Dexter and co.

I think the Eagles sell out to slow Cam Skattebo down after giving up 3 TDs to him 2 weeks ago, and I think they may succeed, as they didn't have Carter for that one. I think Jaxson Dart spreads it around, and keeps it interesting for a bit, but I think Philly just plays a lot better than they did 2 weeks ago.

Eagles cover.

I think the big issue is that the Giants are down their top 2 corners? Will that be negated by their pass rush and no AJ? It’s probably not a coincidence that Denver started their comeback when those guys went down. How impressive was the win last week against Minnesota after what we just saw the Chargers do to that same team? I think we find out a lot about both of these teams tomorrow.

The Giants mauled The Eagles 2 weeks ago
Did The Eagles right the ship last week?
Or was it their opponent?
Giants blew a game on the road because they have one of the worst coaching staffs in the league
Giants are talented but down a couple cornerbacks
Eagles are talented but down AJ Brown
Revenge and a game before their bye give The Home the edge for me
so...

Pheagles- 29

G-Men- 23

Everyone like Philly so I'll go the other direction and take the Giants +7
Giants were blowing out Denver until they weren't, the Dart effect is real for the entire offense

Giants 23
Eagles 22

Eagles get back Jalen Carter and Quinyon Mitchell who missed the last Giants game and only played 13 snaps respectively.

Giants are down their top 2 corners.

AJB out almost evens this out but not quite.

Vic Fangio I don’t think is go My to allow a rookie QB to sweep him, when he’s a defending Super Bowl Champion. #1 priority is stopping Kro Magnum Man and #2 Karenikin Skywalker.

I think they have much success and force 2+ turnovers.

On offense I’m thinking Saquon has his first big game bc revenge, right? No other reason for me to believe the run game goes off but the Eagles have pass protected well this season. Goedert might get 10 catches this week.

Eagles 33
Giants 21

I have no feel for this team. Missing AJ Brown has traditionally been a killer for the eagles. Last time these two teams played they were missing two of their three best players on defense. Saquon hasn’t rushed for 100 yards all year and is averaging like 50 per game. I could be wrong but going off memory I don’t believe Sirriani has ever been swept by a divisional opponent.

I think the Giants played above their level last time and the Eagles were shorthanded and came out flat on a Thursday night. Just can’t imagine them getting swept by NY.

Eagles win in convincing fashion but a late score by the Giants covers.

Birds 27-21

I want to call a big Saquon game, but I don’t think the Oline is there. I know they’d (Patullo, Siri, even Lurie) love to see him have a 2024 Saquon game, and will scheme to maximize him.

But, I think this is lining up to be a passing extravaganza against this NYG D. Slim and Goedert will have monster numbers, Dotson has probably 2 deep ball catches.

Some ugly play on both sides, at times, esp Philly Offense trying to shoehorn the run into a game where they have nothing but success passing. Fangio makes Dart look like a rookie and shuts down Captain Caveman.

Philly- 24
Giants- 16
