Not trying to take anything away from the Vikings, but man the opposing coaching staffs seemingly got lobotomies late in these last 2 games. First Indy not running any clock at all (on purpose in a game they lead by 33) and snapping the ball with 15+ on the play clock every time, and this week NY going with a completely braindead jailbreak blitz on 3rd and 10, which leaves Jefferson 1-1 with their worst CB. Cousins read couldn't have been easier. 100% chance Jefferson was getting the first there.
Again, Minnesota won, and they are the better team, but they are sure having to eke out a lot of pretty easy games. Right now, I think they are pretty clearly the 4th best team in the NFC, and probably around 10th in the NFL.
If seeding holds come playoffs, I would think the Vikings are probably 7-point home underdogs against the 49ers.
ETA: Not that I'm rooting against Minnesota at all. I'm a Bears fan, and really only root against the Packers. I'm happy they are regressing to the mean on these close games. They probably should have won 2-3 more games each of the prior 3 seasons to this.
