GIANTS @ BEARS GAME THREAD (1 Viewer)

If Brandon Marshall really wanted to be a hero, why couldn't he just wear his approved shoes and give the fine money+match money to charity?
Because then nobody would have been talking about it on TV...pretty obvious
Athletes know how to use twitter and every other social medium to get into trouble. I'm pretty sure if Marshall tweeted that "I'll be donating 10,000 to JoeBlowDualPersonality-Fund" he'd get some attention on ESPN.

I think the fine money goes towards charity anyway so it's a win-win with the coverage that he got.
I always wondered where the NFL fine money went, if that's the case, whatever. I didn't know the NFL gave it back to charity.

Nope.

I believe it's actually called "NFL Charities." It doesn't go to the charity of the finee's choice.

thankfully I'm not playing against Marshall tonight
I'm not sure how that wasn't offensive interference. Marshall's arms were fully extended on Thomas' chest. Unsure how any corner defends that.
it is offensive PI, they just don't like to call it anymore
Yeah, I mean... Like I said. I don't see how you can possibly defend that. You can throw that same route every time you're in the end zone and convert 99/100 times if the refs will let Marshall have full arm extension on the DB.

Thought Jeffery was in for a big week. How wrong I was...
No, that was last week...when I played against him. I'm playing against Marshall this week so...I play against Cutler next week so start him with confidence. The Bears really have it out for me this year.

As a Giants fan, i'm sort of pissed at how Caughlin is not adapting to the situation this year. Our defense is a bottome 5 defense, we cant be punting on 4th and less than 3 from the 50. Its crazy to think our defense can ever hold a team with how bad they are. Hate when coaches play it by the book instead of going for it when your team is 5-0 and for once the offense seemed to be clicking.

That's some serious self restraint.

Cutler surgical out there.
I don't think those words have ever been used together before.
There was that time he threw 4 INT's to Deangelo Hall."He's sucking with surgical precision out there. Hitting Hall in the hands every time."
I like to think of it as he completed 4 passes to Hall
4/4? Seems unrealistic.
I just can't win tonight! At least I have a lot of wine.

That's about the only way to fully enjoy a Giants game.
