GIANTS @ BEARS GAME THREAD (1 Viewer)

I could run for 100 on this pitiful Bears D. They really suck.

Good to know that you can now swing a WR around and throw them to the ground without a penalty.
really? How was he gonna catch that ball????????
He wasn't... that should be a personal foul not a PI. That's ridiculous... since when can you swing a WR around by his jersey and throw him to the ground? Irregardless of WHERE the ball was, if that happened away from the pass it'd still be unnecessary roughness.
you can't...but there was nothing remotely rough about that..he spun him but didn't "throw" him anywhere...WR lost his balance after being turned. was obvious PI if catchable, but a LOOOOOONNGGG way from "roughness"
You've got to be kidding. I'm just going to assume you are listening to the game and not watching it, because that was clear as day.
watched it 3 times to be sure. My 10 year old boy is rougher than that. Fully 1/3 of normal PI's are much rougher than that.
You keep going back to PI. It wasn't PI. Jennings GRABBED THE RECEIVER'S JERSEY, AND SPUN HIM TO THE GROUND. Out of bounds, no less. I have no skin in the game, but that's a really bad no call. And since when does a roughing penalty have to be rough? Did you see the "hit" to Cutler's melon earlier?

Peyton's averaging 4 TDs a game... Eli's averaging 3 INTs a game. Either way though, that wasn't Eli's fault. Myers has to catch that.

Seriously? There are a dozen shots every play that are rougher. Most actual PIs are rougher. He did something illegal, had he done it before the pass, it would have been illegal contact. Had the pass been better, it would have been PI. But the truth is the WR was not hit remotely hard, he fell more by loss of balance than the hit (which wasn't even a hit, but a grab and spin).

And no...I didn't see the hit on Cutler, but tend to believe it was a bad call..they over-protect QBs in general

You can use a lot of words to describe the quality of the NFL Network's broadcast. "Good" is not one of them.

Thanks for the input, Rich Eisen. Worse than the mistake with 7 minutes left in the quarter when the graphics read "Start of 4th"

l am being to think you are legally blind.
HIs receiver jumped as high as he could, and it was still over his head...he BARELY tipped it.

showing replay now....6 inches lower and it's caught...dude timed his jump perfectly and simply couldn't quite reach it
