Giants RB's are bums (1 Viewer)

I swear, these two guys are careless. Every week these guys are putting the ball on the ground at the worst times. Twice this year Bradshaw has been off on a big run but is looking at himself on the jumbo tron rather than focusing only to get caught off guard. I won't even get into Jacobs because there is no redeeming qualities.

I'm not saying Bradhsaw is a bad fantasy back. He's turning into an amazing pick but when it comes down to the Giants he's really broken down more drives already than you should all year. Two fumble lost in the red zone and one easy drop off his hands that resulted in an interception at the 40 yard line. You don't see Manning get upset too often and he's looked disgusted several times.

I feel bad for both coaching staff and Manning. Their teammates have not been there for them. 5 Interception for Manning have been off his receivers hands this year. Caughlin has been seen several times yelling at his players on the sidelines and they're just rolling their eyes practicaly. Jacobs was seen screaming back at him tonight after he was getting his chewing. Has old Tom lost the team? Lack of concentration and lack of respect tells a lot.

What's the Shark Pool thoughts?

Bradshaw is an amazing back. Fumbles are bad but his fumble today was a case of a great play by the defender. Jacobs, on the other hand, fumbled a handoff. He never secured the ball and that is just a case of lack of concentration.

Still, those two guys were the biggest part of the offense, so I am not sure how you could call them bums. They both ran hard. Fumbles are part of the game and they can come in streaks.

Bradshaw had 23 carries for 129 yards and a TD is a great game. Throw in the fumble, and drop it to very good. He admitted in the postgame interview that it was a mistake and something he needs to work on. He was also very good on blitz pickups.

The Giants are tied for the division lead. I think they're as dangerous as any team in the league. There is so much parity in the league it is hard to tell, but I think the Giants will be fine.

The fumbles are a concern, but you do realize that he's looking at the Jumbotron to try and see where the defenders are, don't you?

Common', Ahmad admitted he botched that one. While he may have been looking at the defenders, he was also admiring himself. Other than that mishap, I think Bradshaw had a great game, and Jacobs actually showed some face.I must admit I think Coughlin's a [item women use to wash their nether regions], so I'm not a good guy to ask on whether he's lost these guys. I'm not a fan of chewing guys out play after play (after play), so he just doesn't work for me watching lots of football.I think as usual though, this was a big win for the G-men and Tom will survive the season and probably compete for the Division after a moderate early scare that he's "lost the team" yet again...

I own Bradshaw in most of my leagues. I was very disappointed to watch the easy TD turn fumble, not because he lost the points, but because he clearly does not have elite speed. He is not breaking away from defenses. Great vision and balance, average speed. That sucks.

Bradshaw looks really good. the fumble was kind of a fluke.

Jacobs is having a hard time holding onto the ball. he almost lost it on his next carry after his fumble. dude is a headcase.

i see more of the same all season. Bradshaw is the guy in NY.

The fumble occured because Bradshaw didn't secure the ball against his body. He had the point covered and the ball against his forearm, but the 3rd point of contact, against his body wasn't there.

I wasn't able to find a link to the video, but that show Sports Science did a show that showed what a difference the 3 points of contact make. On the show, they had a RB run by 3-4 MMA guys that would punch at the ball as the RB went by. With 2 points of contact, the ball came out easy, with 3 it didn't come out at all, even when the RB stood there and let them punch the ball.

Look at the vision, the elusiveness (that juke is deadly) and then the speed to get outside. He doesn't have top end speed like Chris Johnson or ADP, but he is fast enough when combined with his other skills.

This is just a three yard TD run, but he is hit on the 3, and then he basically pushed the defender backwards and forces his way into the EZ. He is not a large back, but he can run with strength. This strength plus his elusiveness and quicks makes him an all around back.
