Saw Williams in a bunch of packages...getting worried.ArchuletaParrishSandersAre all on the wire right now...do they represent upgrades?

This is a good question. I watched the game last week, and it appeared that Wilson started SS, but was pulled at times for Williams. Near the end of the game, Wilson was back in there. Both had pretty decent numbers for tackles, but if they are splitting time, it is not good. If any Giants' homers know the deal, please post it. I know a lot of Wilson owners are wondering what's going on.

Yes, Wilson is worth starting I'm glad I did. I also started Lemar Marshall who went off. My defense is revamped with a bunch of new guys:

Peppers

Kerney

Marshall

Demario Williams/K Morrison

Urlacher

Bulluck

G Wilson

A Wilson/K Rhodes

i benched wilson and went crowell over marshal and lost for it... I guess it's always play your IDP studs, and never chase the high scorer...is the way to go

Started Boulware/Kiel as they appeared to have better matchups.

I can't figure Wilson out. Maybe he is an every week start. But is he better than Boulware or Kiel? And is he better every week?

JMO, but as long as he is not being pulled out of games, I would start him over every DB in the league regardless of the matchup. He averaged more PPG than EVERY DB on the board last season while he was healthy (regardless of league scoring also). And not by a small margin either. He is a tackling machine and has just as much big play potential as anyone out there. I benched him this week because of what I saw in last week's game. I started Boulware and lost by 4 points. I dont think he will see my bench again all season unless he is hurt or on a bye.

My guess was that he had such poor numbers because the Giants D wasn't on the field much. Can someone confirm this? Or was he out of the game a lot?

Those rumors have been around for a while, dating back to last year when he missed games.Nobody had a very good tackle day yesterday outside of Pierce. The Redskins offense did nothing and gave very few opportunities to the NYG defense to make tackles, 14 completions and 13 rushes doesn't make for many chances to get tackles.

He made a few plays that were called back due to flags, when the skins actually made it to the Giants secondary. The Skins O was dismal not allowing Wilson to contribute. He was out there on D and special teams for the majority of the game.

I'd rather have Archuleta. He forces turnovers, makes tackles, gets sacks. Good guy to have. Only problem is that he's on bye this week.I can't believe he's available on waivers.
