GM's Thread About Everything/GM's Thread About Nothing (12 Viewers)

My daughter is making up some posters for her children's choir fundraiser on Saturday. One will be Doge-themed.

Will try to get a pic.
Le pic
:lmao:

What's Ft. Wayne like?
Small town-ish feel with 250K people. More conservative than might be expected for its size (although it iS in Indiana), but more stuck-in-the-mud than hard right-wing. Younger folks are trying to drag it into the 20th (yes) century.

Only 1 established brewpub, with another still getting up to speed, but 3-4 more preparing to open.

Plenty of good local restaurants, but Applebees, Chili's, and Texas Roadhouse are always busy.

I've eaten at that Chilis

Haven't been to Ft Wayne in about 25 years. Old girlfriend's grandparents lived there.

I remember nothing about it outside of that fact

Just found out our neighbors 3 year old has Leukemia.

God ####### dammit

Sounds like they caught it early and hell be going through years of treatment but looks like 80% success rate

#### ####### cancer

Can someone refresh my memory? My notebook is a bit blurry….I know one of y'all works for Amazon, just can't remember with certainty who.

Drifter?

And I've eaten at that Texas Roadhouse, on my way to South Bend to meet a friend who was a Domer. I liked Fort Wayne.

Kellen installed something on my computer last night so that every freaking word and image on my internet read "velociraptor" with every single image being a picture of this.

:hot:

Mother F'er laughed himself to sleep over my temper tantrum, thinking I had a virus. :bag:

Have you ever returned a birthday gift?

My bro and I usually exchange pretty good gifts - Last year I got him Bose headphones, a Patagonia fleece, and an underwater MP3 player... I usually get him cool stuff he might not buy himself and he always writes me a check. I don't know what my bro makes, but he is def very wealthy by any standards.

Regardless of what he makes, I'm starting to feel weird about these checks. Do I just tell him I can't cash it? Is that insulting?

He is mid 30s and I am early 30s if that matters.

How big a check are we talking about here?

$1,000... It isn't an overwhelming check, but enough that I am starting to feel weird as I get older.
