Yeah, but those images are of really big Americanized beefed up boys for the most part. The leaner "coursing" (corso means coursing) Italian type girl which I have, is certainly intimidating, more than a handful but she's "only" 95 pounds. Conversation with the cop yesterday:

Sausage was born Sasha and abused by her first owner. She went to a rescue, was rescued twice but both families couldn't handle her. She is anti-alpha neurotic hyper. I'd put down a Labrottie and my boxer needed a friend. Also put the Boxer down a few months ago. Decided to give her a chance and sent her for two weeks obedience training. After yesterday I'd say that was worth it.

I just realized she is an Italian Mastiff and not a Perro de Presa Canario.
I like Italian Mastiffs, but the Canary Island Dogs are scary as ####.
I bought a huge jar of Claussens there. Thought they'd last forever, but they somehow expired months ago.shuke said:

I know that Clausen's are sold in the refrigerated section because they don't have the same preservatives in them as Vlassic or Nalley's does, but they are still packed in vinegar, right? How in the world is that #### gonna go bad in under five years?

Eh, not that bad yet. There are a few of the "I'm going to ask a really stupid question because I can't follow even the shallowest television shows" guys. There are also some guys griping because the expect blood and guts every 12 seconds.

I think for a lot of products, the expiration date is there to trick you into throwing out perfectly good food and buying "fresh"

Those guys are great.
Though I like the guys who make ridiculous predictions (e.g. Meadow Soprano will take over the family business, Woody Harrelson is the Yellow King) and angrily defend them against all criticism a little more.

that's what I thought. but they don't really taste as good as they normally do.
I don't care about the date. But something is off with them, and they were fine when I bought them (maybe 6 months ago).

Hey, I like Teddy too. Have him in Uber and in my BIG MONEY DYNASTY LEAGUE!!!111 but he sucked out loud last night. There were some pretty bad QB performances this week....his was top 3 for sure. He'll get better this week. He can't be any worse.
it was a disaster for that entire offense. line was awful. AP was awful. and Teddy was awful.
Norv Turner should get some of that stuff fixed. Really weird how bad they were across the board.

I just watched Ep 1 of True Detective, Season 2.
Does it get better?
Are all of the characters the cartoonish amalgamation of cliches that they seem to be?
As somebody who LOVED Season 1, should I just stop and pretend this never happened?

I tried to watch a few minutes of season 2, saw Vince Vaughn's acting chops and turned it off. I loved Season 1. I'll never even attempt another minute of Season 2.

My best buddy's wife was supposed to deliver this week so on Sunday night they decided to have some last minute preggo sex.
So he broke her water with his rooster and they had to rush to the hospital, but they didn't make it. He delivered his seven pound daughter in the car half way to the hospital and said he didn't even use his "glove hand" to make the catch. Guy is like Spiderman.
Strangely this exact same thing happened to another good friend of mine a few years ago, except he actually made it to the hospital.
