My 72-year-old mom and my 70-year-old stepfather did a 12K today.  Mr krista and I met them at the finish line and then took them for foodbeerwine.

I feel like Mr krista and I won that one.

I feel like you need to wait and see if the two of you are around to run a 12k and then do foodbeerwine at 72-years-old before you can really declare a winner.

Apples to apples and all that.

Running and drinking are my two great passions in life. Would be pretty badass to do them both when I'm 72. I'm on Team Kristamom.

Yeah, I'm proud of them both.  This was two days after they spontaneously joined us on a difficult mountain hike that I didn't think they could do, but they completed 2/3 of it.  They're kicking ###.

I'm sure I do 12K in Vegas, but there's a casino, or a bar, or a casino bar every 500 meters or so. Doing it all in a row sounds tedious.

The Twins are playing the Royals tomorrow night in Minneapolis.  Is anyone interested in going?  I will buy some cheapish tickets off of Stubhub if anyone would like to go.  I'm staying downtown at the Radisson Blu.  If no one wants to go with me I guess I'll just go to the Mall of 'Merica.

Yeah, you see, there's a fish that's popular in Minnesota called Walleye.  Mall of America is in Minnesota.  Mall of America is huge.  Inside, there's shops, restaurants, people, escalators, fountains, ferns.  In one of these restaurants, I ordered Walleye for the first time and loved it.  And though I haven't seen it too many times on too many menus, I'll never forget the righteous taste of a nice piece of Walleye.

Is it true we can delete our own threads now?

i'm actually taking Tanner out to a walleye dinner in October when he comes out here for the Bears game
