At my boy's school a B is considered above average, not sure about your school. They both got mostly A's though.

Home Depot sent a kitchen designer to our house yesterday to discuss resurfacing our cabinets. Not taking the cabinets out and giving us brand new ones. Taking our old ones out, polishing them up, adding some new facing, blah blah blah...

And I know cabinets are expensive. And I know they don't make 'em like they did in 1964. But when she got done with her NINETY FIVE MINUTE presentation and gave us her estimate, I almost cooter kicked her in her orange smock.

$13,988 to give our existing cabinets a face lift.

I probably would have started laughing uncontrollably right in her face.

I think he thought I was saying the whole discussion was pointless, which I wasn't (though I think that is closer to the truth than the incredible gravity he gave it). I was simply pointing out that saying the same things over and over was a waste of time.

I sent him an email saying I had no idea why he walked off. Petulant little twot.

Moved into my new office today, it looks like I'm going to be good having my own beer fridge in there. Oh and they have like a real lunchroom with an ice maker. AN ICEMAKER!!! I was so shocked and happy about this luxury that I didn't even look to see if there were free raisins to be had.
