I have eaten bone marrow, and I liked it. Full disclosure: about six hours later I ate White Castle, and I liked that too.

There's more money in my wallet than there was last night, though I'm a little hazy on the details. No, I didn't blow any dudes at the bus station. I was more lucky than good at gambling last night.

It really is unreal how much garbage we've dealt with over the last year plus.

I haven't even mentioned that we found out 2 weeks ago that my wife's MS has been progressing into the areas of her brain that deal with memory and cognitive function. Very real chance that she'll be taking a disability retirement from her job soon. Or that a month after I was made one of 5 elders in our elder lead church, the church is dealing with a huge crisis.

It's ridiculous. Literally every area of our life has been hit hard over the last year.

On a plus side, we got an awesome email from my daughter's teachers last week that she is doing great. Her behavior has taken a total 180 for the good and she's starting to make some nice progress academically. She's also starting tball and is really pumped about that. So some nice wins for her which is a huge win for us.

Does anyone in here know if I can deduct groceries bought during business travel?

Romo traveled long-term last year and bought groceries to have at his extended stay so he wasn't eating out all the time. He got a per diem but even just the expenses of his the meals eaten out exceeded that. I know I can write off those meals (the amount that exceeded his per diem, that is). But if I add in groceries, the amount we can write off almost doubles.

my understanding is food intended to be consumed on the business trip is OK, but things like a big bottle of vitamins are not ok. But I'm not an expert.
 
I thought it was kinda dumb to lay 13.5 with the Spurs. They won by 30. It seems the dumber my betting, the better it works. :loco:

The last 3 on 3 tourney I played in we got tossed for fighting. My buddy got ktfo by this big dude. I grabbed that guy by the throat until I was wrapped up from behind. Big dude literally ran away never to be found.Buddy that got ko'd went to the medical tent and we spent the next hour or so repeatedly telling him we don't have another game...he asked over and over. Then he'd be shocked and ask why. Then we'd explain we got kicked out for fighting and have to tell him he got cold cocked. Good times.

I once kicked him in the side several times. It ended poorly. I remember he was passed out on my floor and so I started kicking him for some reason, and then I don't remember what happened but suddenly I was on the ground. He may have been sitting on me, I don't really remember but I know I couldn't get up.
