Day drinking on a Monday. By myself. Why?

A). Favorite aunt, one of my Dad's twin sisters, diagnosed with breast cancer.

B). Favorite office mate Vipul - with whom I played poker with every day after the market close - has moved to Connecticut for good.

C). Celebrating the wire I received this morning related to the sale of my house.

D). New house is too cluttered and female filled with uber pregnant wife, well meaning but uber curious MIL and darling but uber energetic 3 year old daughter demanding my attention.

E). Because #### you, that's why

I was in Portland Friday night. Went to a Japanese place and drank a whole bunch of cocktails called "Really Spicy". Habenero infused vodka, lime, simple syrup and muddled cilantro.

Getting HBO et al for 3 months free. I am terrified of the True Detective thread, so I'll just ask it in here. If I enjoyed the first season, will I enjoy the 2nd or is it a trainwreck. Outside of Swingers, I'm not a huge Vince Vaughn fan and I don't think I've ever seen a Collin Firth movie (though I could be wrong, I'll wiki him now).

No clue, as I haven't started watching this season yet. I just love following along with the thread title changes.

Not exactly genre-specific recommendations there.

Getting the right adapter for the vent connection, and making sure the solder and adhesive go together, and flexing the bevel for maximum temperature disapation can be challenging for anyone. You shouldn't feel bad that you failed.

Yeah, it was the connect vent part that I found challenging.

I'm not going to claim I could do it, since I am about as un-handy as any American man could be.
