Just crushed a hot turkey sandwich

Might be a top 5 food item...like death row final meal good
Deep frying a turkey today. Yesterday, I injected it with Cajun butter and dark beer, coated it with dry creole seasoning. I'm looking more forward to this than the birth of three of my five children.
God this turned out great. Going to smoke the carcass and then make turkey stock out of it. But the meat and skin...my god. Pure heaven.
Notice how nobody asked?
Sorry, I was just trying to make talk. I don't really have much else to discuss anymore. My life is pretty ####### boring now with not much happening, so deep frying a turkey was like a trip to Vegas for me.
You sorry you posted your feelings?
What would like like me to post about? Obviously, deep frying a turkey is out, as fun as it was. You want hot 4-month old twin talk? How about I update you on the latest Care Bears drama? What can I discuss that won't irritate you, oh great one?

Actually what kind of beer did you use?
I feel like this is a trap, but...

10 Barrel Sinister Black Ale, aged in whiskey barrels.

Pret-tay, pret-tay, pret-tay happy right now.
Because your Roomba rocks, amirite?
Fo sho.Sorry, but I don't have any advice on the 880 vs 595 question... I wasn't looking to spend that much so the 595 made sense for me. I'm still very happy with it. It gets hung on the base of my recliner sometimes and will get tangled up in the spaghetti mess under my entertainment stand but that is rare.
Thanks. Sounds like the 595 or the other couple cheaper models might work fine for me.

I'm a bit enamored with the 880 because Consumer Report gave it the highest rating. I just didn't want to base it solely on price & then wish later I didn't get the nicer model.

FTR I'm pretty sure I haven't plugged in my Dyson since Bush was President.

I appreciate the update. I haven't deep fried a bird in years because it's kind of a pain in the ### but it's definitely delicious

10 Barrel makes great stuff. Never had the Sinister Black. How did it affect the flavor of the bird?

Not sure I possess the palate nor the experience with deep fried bird to say how it affected the outcome, but I saw a Youtube of some kid from the south using Abita Turbodog in his injection and thought 'what the hey?'. First fried turkey I've ever had and it's very moist and flavorful, which is how Sacamano likes his wine.

But the Sinister Black is far from a session beer. Very bold and you can pick up the bourbon barrel aging. I bought a mixed 12-pack from Rite Aid and of the four choices, I think this was my favorite. Budweiser bought 10 Barrel last year for $50 Million, so now the portly bearded Bend hipsters are rolling around on much nicer unicycles.

Although I did laugh at the video of your buddy putting the turkey in the fryer and the other guy standing by with the fire extinguisher.

I don't want to brag on facebook, so I'm doing it here.

Took over all operations at a bike shop in early October. November is the first full month I've got under my belt. Everything was in disarray, and we've lost two people since I came on board on top of it. Not due to me. :) I took some risks and ordered a lot of last year's bikes to sell on closeout, it was a limited time opportunity and I jumped on it.

If we don't sell anything else today, revenue is up 45% and profit up 60% from last November. Feels good.
Sounds like you wheelie know what you're doing.

I didn't mean to derail the thread.

We had a client that broke the internet today. 130k unique visitors on the site 5 minutes after the Url was announced. Sold out in 37 minutes - half a million on the bank. Very gratifying.
