GM's Thread About Everything/GM's Thread About Nothing (18 Viewers)

I'm wrapping up a project I've been working on for the last year and a half for a young couple (daughter of one of the richer guys in NYC).

just found out today the couple is getting divorced, so we likely won't finish it out to the usual ultra-luxe level that looks good in pictures; they'll probably sell, and the new buyer will probably rip out everything we've just put in (2.5mil worth of build-out).

so basically a year and half with nothing to show for my portfolio. I guess better than the usual year+ and then having the client decide not to build at all.

welcome, 2016... you seem swell.
Yeah, not really feeling the 2016 love here either. From sick kids to stock market woes to massive redemptions in the portfolio, it's feeling a lot like 2015 without any lube.
Just remember that at least your MIL isn't taking you to get snipped.

I genuinely feel for you guys having a tough time. But I'm going to Vegas in the morning anyway. Sooo....suck it, I guess?

I actually really like both my in-laws and having them in town will help my wife out a lot. I'm really just a useless buttplug who takes up oxygen.

Tanner will appreciate this text exchange

Mom: Get your Powerball lottery ticket today

Me: meh

Mom: Listen to Your mother do it

Me: Fine but I'm picking my own numbers

1 2 3 4 5 and 6

Mom: Why do you have to be so difficult then buy another one easy pic

Me: well see

I only wish it were a group text
:lmao:

Now there's an issue with the group texts where I am not getting some of them for a couple of hours. I would count it as a blessing but instead of getting 3 or 4 or 138 messages over a couple of minutes around 9:30am I get all of them at once sometime after noon. It scares the #### out of me.

Mrs Limp (43) was just at the grocery store and while checking out, the cashier informed her of a discount for people over 55.

Considering I'd like to have sex again, I'm going to refrain from replying with 'You don't look a day over 54'

made a pretty nice deconstructed red sauce for you fat tubs of goo.....

olive oil, medium heat, 1/4-1/2 onion diced, keith sweat the onions for a bit, add clove of garlic, then some dried basil & oregano. then about 8 oz of cherry tomatoes halved. 1-2 cups chicken stock, bring to boil, then simmer 1/2 hour.

add to oven fried chicken.
That sounds like you constructed a red sauce. What makes it (or anything else, for that matter) deconstructed?

Technically, if you were just a buttplug, you wouldn't have a litter of kids running around.

Anyone here ever watch Kolchak: The Night Stalker? I remember this show as a kid and thought it was awesome. It's lost some of its luster over time, but the kitsch value is through the roof

I am hopeful that someone continues to employee Johnny manziel in the nfL because the stories keep getting better. A wig and mustache? Lol

After five years and approximately 50,000 posts (not actually the true figures), and judging from the thread title alone, the BBQ contest has evidently concluded.

It was a run.

First batch of Mr krista/stepkrista beer is fermenting or some such now. It's allegedly going to be a Dubbel.
Don't get a yeast infection
I got one of those beer making kits for Christmas. I think it yields a couple six packs and takes a couple weeks to ferment. I might get the process started this weekend.
Is it a 5 gallon kit? If so, you should get 40-50 12 oz bottles out of it
