Black Monday at my office. Corporate just came over and fired the president and our operations manager. They asked me to stay, but that may be just until the office that's absorbing us gets up to speed on our work.

 
I understand that the same broadcast team isn't available, but with the Astros game being cancelled how hard would it be for ESPN to shift to the Giants game in Milwaukee so that there is something to watch while I have my lunch beer?

SF game doesn't start until 1CT. If your bar has DTV, its being broadcast on channel 696 for some reason (as well as MLB ticket)

 
Alcohol is an unremarkable element in this context, which means that drinking to excess is frowned upon. In Italian bars, people consume alcohol socially, rather than with the aim of excess.

Chem X, K4, almost everybody here with more travel experience than me,

A few last minute questions before leaving for our trip Friday to Italy. I was going to bring a big bottle of whisky with me.  Is this going to be a problem with customs?  What about porn?  Think they'll have DVD players with a USB port in the room?  Should we claim we're from Toronto?

Buy your whiskey at the duty free at the airport in the US.  That way you don't have to put it in your luggage and you don't have to pay taxes on it.

True story:  My buddy Jerry and his wife just got back from Italy last week.  Somebody snatched both of their passports and something like $2400 in Euros and travelers checks.

Of course they were both probably drunk.

Who, besides people moving money for drug lords, travels with $2400 in euros?  Knowing Tanner, I probably answered my own question.
