Cast iron cookstove and an icebox?

(ha, beat you ####ers to it)
I grew up in my great, great aunt's house and she had an icebox that still was used sometimes, though it wasn't primary. She had gotten a fridge probably around the time I was born. I DO remember we had one of those old-time washing machines with the death-rollers for semi-drying the clothes.

My step daughter's dad lived in Seattle and they would always take pics of their home and all of her friends' for various events.

Every. Single. One looked like the architect was Mike Brady. Did every house there get built in 1974?
We are currently in a house that was built in 2006 and has a typical new construction look.

We needed more space and wanted to actually have less money wrapped up in our house, so we thought remodeling an older, larger home would do the trick.

It probably still will, but the numbers aren't quite coming out the way we intended. It is shocking that a remodel project is over budget, I know.

where at this time?
Same joint - south of Playa Del Carmen. I have a TA friend who keeps a lookout for me on good deals and found a sweet spot after Spring Break (though this resort doesn't get a lot of that, being an hour south of Cancun) and late April when every European alive descends upon Mexico, and before school lets out in NA. $2,200 for 7 nights in the high-end adults-only section, all inclusive,1st class direct from Dulles to Cancun, and private transport to the resort with a cooler of beer for the ride. I'll spend more in tipping and buying other ####, but will get out of it for less than $2,700. I can't go anywhere nice HERE for that and be treated like I will be there. AND I'm paying a single-guest "penalty"

I thought the first picture was lovely. I flipped a few homes out here (nightmares about it still) so every time I see someone under construction my reaction is you're stupid
It's hard to tell, but that drop ceiling looks less than 8' to me. If so, I can understand RL's not liking it.

can't?  why?  i'm drinking waaaaaaaaaay less these days, when are you coming through?
I'll leave mid morning Thursday or Friday. I should be near Mammoth around noon. Drinking and driving isn't a good idea for me and I'll have three hours to go. I prolly shouldn't have mentioned it. My kid may come now, which means she could drive and I can drink, I think. That would be a first but she'd probably get a kick out of it. When are you there?

Well...sure.

Now that we have experienced the whole timetable and budget creep thing, I agree with you.

Good on ya for sticking up for your kid Bob.

Good on ya Bob.  For legal purposes I'm glad you didn't punch him.

For emotional reasons I would have paid to see him get a beat down.
I had my hands in my pockets the whole time and began to walk away when he mouthed off.  I turned back, hands were out of the pockets and he was about to catch a left with his mouth.  He knew it and started stammering and stuttering.  Oh yeah, I've also been lifting weights again in conjunction with walking.  Weighing 200 pounds with a 32" waist not that I needed any extra to deal with this but I was already scary when I want to be.

So what's a good answer? Honest question

"I don't feel comfortable telling you my age at this point in the negotiation"

"You'll find out on your background check"

"Old enough to know you can't ask that"

"Still 25 YOLO :fingerguns:"
Anything with fingerguns is always a good answer.

In case you're still wondering, a good week or so.
I didn't eat it, but I didn't throw them out either - have about ten that are 15 days overdue now.  Developing.

Yogurt protip:  do not buy yogurt at Costco if you're the only one eating it.

That's my wife.  They are yoga pants.  I'm going to tell her you said they looked 'snug'. :lmao:
Yes, please do tell your wife that you internet friends mistook her in yoga pants for you in your snug corn dog-eating pants. Then report back.

I second this, if you phrase it precisely as written (especially since precisely as written they are your pants, made of corn, that you wear to eat dogs.)  I'd be interested to hear her input.

Ok, how should I have properly hyphenated "your pants which were designed to be worn whilst eating corn dogs"?
