My stupid kid was playing with his Hexbug in the kitchen and it went under our stove and back into this little crevice

I didn't really care if he ever got it again but it was buzzing like crazy so I had to get a long screw driver with double sided tape in order for get it out.  Pics of the screwdriver available upon request

 One of my friends is head of corporate security for a Fortune 500 company. Today he had to deal with an incident where an employee was almost killed.

The guy was outside taking a smoke break when something large fell off the roof and almost landed on him. A deer. A freaking deer got on the roof and jumped off. 

Luckily, the guy was uninjured. Unfortunately, the deer was badly injured and had to be put down.

If the guy had been injured, I'm not even sure how you'd write up that OSHA report.

Grew up in the shadow of dodger stadium, every Friday night I got a free firework show. My god parents took me to the 81 World Series.  I lived through Fernando mania, in the bario.  It was awesome!!  I know exactly where I was for the Gibson home run(chasing tail in a bar in Brentwood)  

My dad is from Boston   I was not given an option, I am a Red Sox fan. 

My GB COS is at the game and is a stros fan. They've never won ####.  I feel for him/them

I was exhausted when it was over. I had only had one beer because it costs you an inning to go pee. By the time I get back to the hotel, its 1:45 and bars have all called last. I really had my mind set on a couple of quick  double Tito's rocks.  I had two beers left in the room fridge. But they were frozen solid, so I have them thawing in the sink. 

But you know what? I don't care. I just had the best live sporting experience of my life. I'll chug these two real quick and hope and I can get some sleep.

This was by far the most I ever paid for a ticket to anything, but when you figure it came out to under $300 an hour. it doesn;t seem so bad. But I do really need to cash that ticket Kev bought me.
