Speaking of which...I fell down a youtube rabbit hole and have been watching a bunch of videos of a guy from Wisconsin shooting pigeons and other pests with an air rifle.  He’s got all these high tech gadgets to help him.  It’s fascinating.  He’s also really happy and talks funny.

He’s focused on smaller / private schools. Mostly Midwest. No interest in big state type U’s.

Right now, number one choice is probably St Thomas in St Paul, Mn.

Hes been to Mn twice and neither time has that been in February. I don’t think he knows what he’s in for

I'm not usually home on Saturday night, but a week in Vegas has wiped me out. I hope to make it to the mailbox eventually.

 
Our HOA put on a visit from Santa today, up in the park in our neighborhood.  Kids got to see him, drink hot chocolate, and get craft.  Guy looked the part pretty well, but wow was he talkative.  Going on about all kinds of things, including how he wanted us to come visit in January, giving us directions, etc.  Then he started talking about Mrs. Claus, about how she had put on a few pounds.  "She wears it well, though, I give her that.  Up to about 380.  Just the other day we had to put some butter on her arms to get her through a doorway.  She made it, no splinters or anything".

Uh..what the ####?

Pests, wow. Pigeons are majestic and beautiful animals.

He’s actually a limnologist (science of lakes and ponds).  I don’t think he makes any money from the pest control...other than what ad revenue his YouTube channel brings in.

Earlier this year he won some big air rifle competition that earned him $5K.
